Also it's not a fine, posting this person's picture on Facebook won't help, he's just doing a job, would you like your picture plastered all over the place if you doing your job ? I don't agree with what he does but all he's doing is what his employers tell him to do!
Now try to understand that this not a fine, just an invoice asking for money, there is no legal obligation to pay, so tell your father to ignore the letters he's about to get. They will send 5 or 6 with increased levels of threats he should ignore everything short of claim from the courts, which will never happen!
You on his behalf should complain to the retailer as their agent is in breach of the Equality Act 2010, your dad is considered disabled under the act, tell them they have 28 days to get this cancelled or you will make a claim from them and the parking company for £500 plus costs. If you wish to proceed on that route come back to a new thread for further adviceWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Or you could appeal in your name, giving your address, so they write to you about it. But definitely complain as this is harassment of a person considered to be disabled (even without a Blue badge which is not relevant on private land even if it mentions BB on the signs). Someone with a disabling condition like your dad needs more time allowed so they have failed in law.
Let us know how you get on with your complaint but start your own new thread. See the link already given to get you off this one from 2 years ago! You will see that we have threads every day about this scam, happy reading!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Indeed. You know that. I know that. fiifii87 now knows that. But her elderly father doesn't and didn't at the time. And there's the rub. These parasites prey on vulnerable people like the elderly and disabled, duping them into thinking these are fines which have to be treated seriously. fiifii87 is justifyably livid, I would be if my elderly parents were treated like this.trisontana wrote: »It's not a FINE!0
