Honda Accord? massive estate car, extremely reliable and very comfortable0

2002/2003 Mondeo diesels are not good. we were going to buy one but our landlord used to work for ford's and he said they had a lot of injector problems and they are expensive to fix.
We have an Audi A6 estate, 2003, superb car, comfortable, nice to drive, high spec, air con, traction control, tow bar, plenty of room in the estate part, lots of hidden storage. Fantastic MPG.
Not cheap to purchase but well worth it.0 -
They come in a variety. The PD130 is a better bet (130bhp) loads of torque, should handle anything you through at it. Stay away from the 2.5tdi though. Diesel guzzler, I tell ya![/QUOTE]
I've got an A6, 2.5tdi and it is not a diesel guzzler. Its got high mileage but still averages 45-50mpg. That is just short journeys, haven't done a motorway yet so not sure what it will do then.0 -
The standard Vectra hatchback has the boot space of an estate car, if you got the the estate version or the "Signum" (very nice), you'd have to call yourself "the doctor" and hire a sexy assistant (lets face it, you wouldn't hire a swamp donkey)

I had a 2002 mondeo (115 2.0TDDI), which sold to one of my staff 3 years ago with a 140,000 miles - he's still running it now with over 200,000 miles and not missed a beatThe futures bright the future is Ginger0 -

One siezed up and sold on, the other is on clutch number three and gearbox number two at 100k miles.
I have a volvo v40 which is rock solid
older mazda 626 estates are fantastic but rare
just about to take delivery of a brand new Mazda 6TS2 2.2 D will let you know if its any goodThe futures bright the future is Ginger0 -
Whatever you buy, it will not be as good as your old Primera, assuming it is a pre year 2000, pre Renault one.
Oh and you will need to change your user ID on here.
My Primera hasn't been exactly reliable .......˙ʇuıɹdllɐɯs ǝɥʇ pɐǝɹ sʎɐʍlɐ
