Can you block 0 feedback eBayers from bidding?

I do feel that certain items/categories are more prone to problems with chancers and fraudulent buyers.

With rare exception I buy and sell in a specific category in which to date have had no problems with buyers and no unresolved problems with sellers.

0% feedback new buyers, I've had quite a few. The last one was for a £700 (used) item. I offered local inspection prior to purchase, local collection for cash, or delivery with tracking for payment via PayPal.

Prior contact from buyer before purchasing BIN, they were not local enough to collect themselves. Payment was by bank transfer and local collection was by a relative on the buyer's behalf. The buyer was happier for the item to not go through a courier "toss the parcel routine".

All conducted amicably and an excellent all round result for me and the buyer.

The positive sales and purchases on eBay never generate as many postings as the less than positive ones, but in numbers far exceed negative experiences. Good news travels fast, bad news travels more quickly.

You're not wrong there! The problem is as a seller, it only takes one dodgy transaction to screw your reputation.
