Ebay bullies

I am getting so fed up with bullies on ebay. It's a sad world we live in sometimes... people do get "all brave" online. I don't know why they seem to think hiding behind a computer screen and being spiteful and horrible to someone you in some cases don't even know is clever. It's just wrong. Ebay seems to be a breeding ground for them.

Give me a refund and I will keep the goods you will send me the right one and not report you to ebay!!!!!!! I accidentaly sent the wrong item, asked to return and I would pay postage to return and then send right one out.

Sounds like you were being fair in trying to rectify the mistake. Stand firm, in any dealings stay polite and stick to the facts. It's hard to divorce your feeling from issues like this but you have to try to not take it personally.

I would start with refunding the cost of returning the item straight away, to see if they calm down.
I know giving them a refund is probably the last thing you'd want to do...
    Some people....

I offered to put that in their paypal account but they are still being awkward. I hate bullies, the internet really highlights peoples bully nature. Say it to a persons face different story! I mean their latest one is - If you do not do what I say i will report you to ebay as selling items with incorrect write up and take you to trading standards. I mean get a life. I think a phone call to ebay is in order. All people have to do is look at my feedback etc. I would never rip anyone off, even if I am in the wrong. I didn't get ebay top seller award by being an ignorant person like some customers we have to deal with nowadays.

Not the best buyer in the world.
Maybe you got their back up a bit when you said you would send out the correct item after they had sent the other one back.
    Is it an expensive item?

Still, it's not as bad as a previous thread where two buyers got each others items, and both were refusing to return them until they had the correct one.
    (Wonder what happened to that?)

it is a pair of jeans at £4.99 I had 2 the same but one came with a belt. They where both the same price. Me thinks a call to Ebay is in order.

could you send them the belt separately or give them a discount for not sending the belt?
And then you could increase the price of the ones they did not have the belt accordingly, as I expect it would add value?

Unfortunately I can see why they'd think you had tried to rip them off, unfortunately so many sellers do. :(

I have explained to them that they are exactly the same but they have the one with the built in belt (it cant be removed). I just do not know where some people get their attitudes from. You wouldn't act like this in M&S or even Amazon.

We have now compramised and they will accept a refund of the postage and keep the jeans.

The buyer has undoubtedly looked at your feedback and seen just that ... and then thought "this seller's honest and easy going, so how much can I get out of them?"
