I just tried it and seems to be working as expected.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    1. go through the link
    2. select currency - euro.
    3. select new fairfx card
    4. change amount to £10
    5. red warning saying €60 is the minimum deposit????

just tried this numerous times and the same thing happens. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I'd done that before I posted...have done it again.

Maybe try clearing your cache or something?

I got the same this afternoon in pounds - min was £50 so gave up
Also couldnt find on website how much you had to add at a time when you top up. Was worriedthat might be £50 atime as well now and you cannot phone them up really to find out only email which tkes two days apparent.y
Original poster, if you manage to sort this out please let me know.

So thought I would go for the Escape card from phones r u or whatever its called but I cant find on there how much they charge you for an online transaction and also what their top ups are. Can anyone help with this?

Am so fed up as I have spent a disproportionate amount of time on this! I only want a card for Ryanair and I dont want it in Euros just pounds so should be simple.
    Many thanks

    Check the FAQ at http://www.fairfx.com/faq

Are there any minimum/maximum limits per transaction?

"Travel currency cash orders are subject to a minimum order of $20, €10 or £10. FairFX Currency Cards are subject to a minimum load of $75, €60 or £50. Once activated, the maximum balance of a FairFX Currency Card is $10000, €7500 or £5000."

The minimum top-up has become live in the last few days. The wife got hers on saturday, still at 10 Euro minimum top up.

    okay, thanks.
So Fairfx is now £50 initial load and £50 minimum top up and the transaction on Ryanair will cost 1.40%
Can anyone telll me how the Escape card compares? To reiterate I only want to use it with Ryanair and I am happy with pounds as the currency.
    Thank you very much!
