Hi, I have an HTC Desire. I have tried everything I can but cannot put the flash on. Also downloading FlassApp but didnt work. Tried activating it during the camero but still no flash.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or any way around it to put the flash on?

Thanks
MS

Do you mean you want the flash on as a light?

Yes flash as a light not a flash player
  • Have you tried the Flashlight app?

thats what i thought.. must be there in the app draw somewhere.

ou use switchpro widget, costs 61p from the market, in settings choose camera led as flashlight

If you mean to use as a torch, it's already on the Desire and as randomtask says it's called Flashlight. Look in All Apps.

If you want to use the flash on the camera then touch the lightning button on the screen with the camera on and it will toggle between flash, flash auto and off.

No idea what an "app draw" is but if you hold your finger down on a blank part of any home screen then select "App" you will find flashlight in there.

What version of android are you running, not sure if it was on before froyo?

As it was said at least 5 times above, the first step is to check if the led light works by playing with the 'Flashlight' app that comes with the phone. The advices seem to have fallen on deaf ears.
