I really used to enjoy playing football in my yoof, but have never been able to be a spectator. As for spending endless hours listening to pundits yabbering on - I'd rather watch paint dry.

I've only just started playing again (well, within the last year).
I'm a goalie, and a month ago I broke my thumb in a game, so have been on the sidelines

Can't play sports these days, sadly. Used to play all sorts. Hockey, rugby, water polo, badminton on a pretty regular basis, always glad to join a game of volleyball or five-a-side soccer...

I was a skinny lad at school so did pretty well at the long distance running, which I did enjoy. At the annual school fun-run, I had a bet with one of teachers that I'd beat him. Got a mars bar!
