Yep!
Old Style doesn't mean "Old fashioned" honest. If that was the case they'd be cooking on open fires in the back garden and bashing their laundry on a rock in the nearest stream...
..no, it's more about returning to the old values of shopping thriftily, reuse and recycle, cook from scratch and use up leftovers, reduce waste, budgeting - and none of this buy it right now on credit because I wannit stuff.
Essentially it's about how to make the best of the money you have left after doing all the finance changes on cards, utilities etc and sorting out your bills. Just like those boards you can save tens to hundreds of pounds per month - and the bonus is a better diet and lovely grubHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Would you believe that I got so much into using vinegar for cleaning and for things like a replacement for fabric softener that I completely forgot that I first ever bought the stuff for fish and chips?

I'm not proud - I'll have a beer thanks
Been busy the last couple of days setting up a new laptop and changing ISP so sorting out mail and web hosting. I can't remember for the life of me which outfit I have one of my sites registered with. <sigh>
So a time out for a beer would be a good moveHi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
