Leather sofas anyone...

Hi all,
I have been reading through the threads for the last few days to find someone tell me where I can find a good leather sofa ..but so far I've only come across a lot of unhappy ppl with not much success at the likes of DFS, SCS, Harveys etc.:(
So I'm now convinced I shouldn't even consider them because I may end up with faulty furniture which may take a long time to be replaced/fixed and wont last long. But that leaves me with the question, where should I shop from? I'm absolutely lost now.
Any good reviews/and advice would be most appreciated. If anyone knows a thread that has this, a link would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a leather sofa from DFS, have never been keen on leather but hubby was. Purchased almost two years ago, very pleased with it but you probably get what you pay for and it was I think either the most or almost the most expensive leather sofa they did.
The one in the shop had brass studs on it but I asked for it without which was not a problem. It is aniline leather so cannot be treated which means I am very careful with it. I use a dry duster on it weekly and treat it with DFS Leather wipes evey six months.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0 -
we have lazyboy sofas, not cheap but good quality, i first saw the sofas in a local expensive shop, when the salesman pounced to try to sell,i took the brochure he offered and rang the phone number in it and asked who stocks it local, then i rang the shops and got the sofas a few hundred pound cheaper.0

We bought ours from Thomas Lloyd. They're really good quality and I'm pleased with them.
We've got three children, so they get well used, but they still look good after two years wear :cool:Here I go again on my own....0 -

We bought two leather two seater sofas and a chair a few months ago from CSL. The leather is very good quality. The sofas were £1100 each and the chair about £600. The after sales service is good too. We had two calls from them asking if we were happy with our purchase.0

Just ordered two sofas from this website: http://www.just4sofas.com/ (gone for a 3+2 Salento) I spent ages looking for one I liked and living on the Isle of Man choice is limited, I also wanted electric recliners. They are due to be delivered any day now. I will let you know what they are like.0

My leather sofa is from M&S, I've had it for around 5 years and it's still going strong and looks good as new. If you can wait for a 30% off week/weekend you can get a reasonable deal. I used a M&S card (paid it off straight away) so got another £75 or so in vouchers from the reward scheme.Whatever0

I'm very happy with the 2x CSL sofas I bought 3 years ago. Still look like new. As another post said, I dust it regularly and use wipes on it ~6 monthly. I didn't go for the cheapest leather option though.
I'm sure others will come on slating CSL, but my experience with them has been good.0 -
I got mine from John Lewis and have been happy with them.0
