52 for me :) kinda got everything sorted minus the table plan as I'm still waiting to hear bk from oh's family if they are coming or not.

Hows everyone else's plans coming along? I've not really kept up to date with this thread but wish i had. Anyone getting nervous etc? everyone keeps asking me and surprisingly im very calm. I keep dreading I will have forgotten something major but keep checking all the wedding book checklists and I haven't come across anything yet. What else does everyone have left to do? I recieved my daughters passport today so that's another load off my mind. We still need to get oh's ring as he couldn't decide when we picked mine, he doesn't wear jewellry usually. I have done lots more DIYing, my order of services are done, my table names (gone for my daughter's fav films) confetti cones, activity books n eye spy sheets for the kids and I've also got lots of jars n started buying sweets for the sweetie table were having. Cant think of anything else at the mo x

    37 days for me :j

I keep thinking I'll forget something as well. It's not too bad for us because we're getting married abroad so I don't have to remember loads of the usual stuff. But if we're in America and something we need is here, we're stuffed
  • Gosh turtle I'd be a nervous wreck thinking I'd forgotten something. So do u have a planner out there sorting all the legal bits?

No! :rotfl: It's just me really. We do have a wedding planner, but she is just sorting the flowers, car, photographer etc. As for the legal stuff, I have looked it up at the County office where you go to get your licence and it looks pretty straight forward. The complicated looking bit seems to be getting the marriage certificate and the certified copies so I will be relying on the wedding people advising us on that!

You must be sooo excited!! My best friend is getting married on Friday, at the min shes soo stressed so im doing my best to try and help her calm down etc as i know i will be needing her to calm me down. Have you got everything sorted Aworbey?

Everyones a bit quiet on here lately - no one got any ideas they have done or would like to do - any mad dreams / nightmares. I had one the other night that i had forgotten loads of things - its made me now make yet again another huge list of stuff that needs to be done / finished off.

My biggest worry because we're getting married abroad is that I won't have the right documents, or that I'll leave without the marriage certificate or something. But then I keep telling myself that they must marry hundreds of people a day in Vegas and they won't let us get anything wrong!

I'd like to think things are on track, as everyone does I'm sure I'm panicked that I've forgotten something but I'm sure we haven't. My other half still hasn't got her dress, ordered from a shop last October and it's getting a bit squeeky bum time! We've been assured that it will arrive in time, doesn't help alleviate my partners worries though!

We have a photobooth for our 'chillout room' which I've made which looks pukka, well impressed with it, all automated!

Had loads of ideas as I'm faily creative and quite confident with my hands, as is my other half so we've been very creative!

I have lists on lists, but we all use an app called Catch on my Android to do lists and easily tick things off etc. You can make collaborative lists with family and all manage them together and the good thing is there is a iOS app too and you can view it on their website. It's invaluable!

aworby i must check this app out - i have the wedding uk app which i have started to put my table plan in and ticked off other bits that i have done. The photobooth sounds fab, this is something i really wanted - we had one in our package with our original photographer but she cancelled on us a few months ago, anyway weve managed to find another photographer who is fab but he doesnt do photobooths :( What does yours entail if its all automated? Ive just had confirmation about hiring a bouncy castle - all booked :) we have 30 kids coming so thought it would be good for them to keep them quiet for an hour or so inbetween room changing round.

I cant believe your OH still hasnt got her dress yet, i would be in mega panic, probably buying a spare just in case if that was me - but then again i have had mine for 2 years :o

Aworby there is a DIY thread i started which shows all the creative things have made - pop over and stick your things on there :)

So what dates are everybody getting married? Maybe we should start a list so we can give a shout out to those whose dates are next x

It's software for my laptop which I've built a photobooth surround for it to fit into and I have a large big red button which you press which starts the countdown. It takes 3 snaps and then you can have it upload to Facebook etc afterwards as a collage, as well as storing the main photos on my laptop. It's neat piece of software.

Thankfully my visit the wedding dress shop and having a rant has worked as her dress turned up last Friday. She's going in for a hair trial and try on Wednesday so panic seems to be over - phew!!

Do you have a link to the thread so I can have a look next time I'm on?

I'm getting married the 4th May 2013!! Oh my word, 19 DAYS!!!! I can always amend my first post so it's all at the top if people want, the list I mean.
