Mcvities chocolate Milk or Plain Biscuits (400g) are £1.54 at Mr T, £1.59 at Mr A but 2 for £2. If you buy 2 packs would it be priced checked against the 2 for £2? Possible DTD of £2.16 / net cost £0.92 for two packs if so.

Mcvities Hobnob's (300g) milk/plain are on same offer at Mr A's but £1.41 at Mr T

Well i bit the bullet today and took my £64 ish dtd voucher as well as one for £13ish and £23ish, also took hubby and DD incase I was not allowed to use them! Used the big one towards a tv and the guy in the electrical section said I could pay for it there. I took out my voucher and the two different co-op £5 off vouchers and he looked blankly at them and was straight on the phone :eek: I was ready to go back to the car a this point! I told him it was Direct that wouldn't take them and who ever was on the phone said that I was right phew! so £65 of my cash to pay result:j then had to tell him to take the voucher and receipt for his till as he was tryin to give them back to me :rotfl: After putting the tv in the car we all went back in but I am still shaking like a leaf incase they know it's me with another voucher, (although I took my coat off, quick thinking eh!) Did a little bit of a dtd shop to use the lowest voucher and then a normal shop with the middle one. the lady on the till was really nice but hadn't seen one before so I told her how to scan it etc and she was ready to give it back! Told her all about the dtd and that employees could do it but she said she would leave it as morrisons is best:rotfl: my heart was in my mouth all the way to the car incase they all came running after me, but we got away:beer:Also my three new receipts are all clean! This was Tayside area in Scotland (don't want to give too much away!) I have been reading this for a while but I've not actually done a shop at Tesco to reap the benefits. The only thing I don't understand is why people are scared of using the vouchers. Yes, you have gone out to maximise your savings but you are not doing anything criminal. You have been canny and had lots of free stuff but you haven't stolen anything. As far as I can see, the only people who could potentially be doing anything criminal is anyone who uses their receipt/voucher more than once.

I agree with the above, but would also like to point out how many of us on MSE have actually encouraged the staff to sign the receipts, as they didn't know that's what they should be doing, to ensure that they are not used more than once.

Today I have used two large vouchers & neither staff members had seen or even heard of the promotion :eek: So much for Tesco's staff training then, bearing in mind this was not over the week end when they employ a lot of students.

But is that criminal? Tesco said that £100 was the maximum but then issued people with vouchers for in excess of £100? I am sure that anyone using such a voucher could not be prosecuted. Tesco have issued vouchers which, under their terms and conditions, they should not have issued. Tesco's fault not the customers. As I said earlier, I think that the only people who have anything to fear is those who have used the same receipt/voucher on more than one occasion. This could be classed as fraud but people just taking advantage of the offer are not committing ANY crime. By the way, I am not a law expert just trying to think logically.
