Decided to spend my voucher for £88 today to get rid of it.

I took my two wee 'uns and my hubby to provide moral support and to give backup if needed (my 4 year old son is an expert arguer!)

Thankfully there were no major problems. The till lady was enamoured of my two kids and we chatted all the way thru my packing of the shopping. when I presented the DTD voucher she didnt even bat an eyelid and just put it thru. She also wished me good luck for the future.

The message here is be confident, be brave - you have all done nothing wrong.

At the end of this promotion no-one should have lost out, so if you do get any grief or problems, remember... we are th eones who are winning. It is Tesco who is the loser out of all of this.

    hth.

yes but did you get any DTD shopping for the next voucher???;)

    I was very naughty today...

I bought 1 pack of 6 mullerrice yesterday and went back in today for the rest of my DTD shop. After I had paid I trotted up to the CS desk with yesterdays receipt...'Oh I bought the mullerrice yesterday and didnt see they were on offer' CSA; 'No problem, here, take the other two packs...' :D:D

I was being followed all around the shop by another MSE'r, sadly for her I beat her to the last two bottles of Turner Road! Sorry! :D She managed to beat me to the olay though :(

    Maybe a dumb question but:

Will Tesco be losing out more due to the duty on wine. Im assuming its a lot higher than other products?

when at the tills today sa said they were looking out for £46 vouchers as someone had reused theirs more than once!!!!!!!

Easy done as the SA wasn't even going to sign my receipt. I told her to do so as if I was dishonest I could print another voucher and use it again.

Spent all evening catching up on here after being out all day, and then working out my shopping list(s) for tomorrow - one normal, one DTD.

I have 2 vouchers, will use the £25.08 one towards our weekly shop - making it cost only £11.47 :D Then will use the £18.94 one for the following:

    Spaghetti hoops snap pots x1
Hovis thick sliced soft white x2
    Cathedral City cheddar 350g x1
    Diet coke 8 pack x4
    Mini Babybel x2
    Comfort Exhilarations Strawberry x1

Hopefully a £7.64 spend after the voucher, and a £20 DTD voucher back :j Might chuck in a few tins of value chopped tomatoes and kidney beans etc which are the same price as Asda to make it less obvious :rotfl:

That is exactly what one of mine said - I waited 5 days to get something back, and then got that message. I phoned up CS but they just said they couldn't do anything about it... Mine would have been for about £91, so I'm wondering if they have been doing this to large claims made a while back.
