Lol, how did you manage four shops in one day? Do you mean four seperate shops or 4 shops in one go?

4 separate trips to 3 different Tescos. :rotfl:

They can't do this under basic consumer law. It's illegal to change the T&Cs after the contract has been struck.

Its possible if both parties agree, however without 'consideration' it would need to be done by deed.

As an apology for the port post, I did a shop today and bought Mini Babybels (the ones in a net). SEL stated £1.49 each. I grabbed one as they are a quid at ASDA. As I left the store, I glanced at my receipt, only to see I'd been overcharged to the tune of £2.99! I immediately re-entered the store, cleared the shelves of them and paid for them at £2.99. Went to customer services and received DTD, in cash, immediately. No 'Price Check' rubbish required! Don't know if this is local, but worth a scan if you have the customer machines in store.

EDIT - Should say, I got immediate DTD on the revisit shop (for 12 of them). Didn't bother querying the original charge on my DTD receipt - didn't want it scribbled on!

ok 10 pages while i nipped out to tesco,
will be a late night again

so i got ants in my pants again and had to get my tesco fix again!:D

had a £16 voucher from prev buy of batteries, SA was a lovely old fella and had to call the supervisor who didn't seem bothered that i had already returned some from the receipt (had not affected the DTd and brought the DTd breakdown email just in case). Also had a NOTW voucher spent £30 , gave £9 cash, slightly overdid it and work out difference is £11 so the loo rolls may be going back

bought 2 fairy exel gel, comfort exhilarations strawberry, 2 diet coke 8pks, 10 green giant sweetcorn cans, herbal essences, 2 value loo roll

was loathed to but have also invested another £20 on olay and 3 herbal essences.

will let you all know if i get the dtd on them

ps the gillette proglide manual was £8 in my store, is this local, anyone bought this today pls????????

That's the Power version (no DTD), the manual (£9.99) is the one you want. HTH. :D

I did a small shop with a voucher which came to 68p to pay I went to pay by card as I had no cash on me the cashier said that the smallest transaction you can do on a debit card is for £1 I was snookered I would have to put all the stuff back then as quick as a flash I said
"Can I have £10 cash back please"

    Transaction complete

They must have jsut been a cheeky sod, i use my card under a pound all the time. I'm one of those annoying people who really only use card :)

You dont need batteries, everyone needs batteries, we go through them like no ones business in this house, kids toys, remotes, cameras, lights, games etc etc.

If tesco had DTD on batteries, I'd be all over that one.

    they do!!!!
try the ultra on offer in asda at the mo
i got a DTD on the blue packs, prices have changed slightly since

i have got LOADSSSSSSSSSSS of batteries from the recent sainsbuties promotion may still be on?:T:T:T

My wife's always looking for batteries. Every night at about 10pm when she goes to bed, and I'm happily typing around on my laptop, she's always asking me if I have any spare AAA's. Can't fathom out why?? :o

Hi everyone - I have a lot of catching up to do! Just totting up and seem to have a rogue unsigned receipt - are they still honouring the larger vouchers?
