Depends. What colour was the blood - red or white?0 -
If the OP had already been shown to have used their £100 monthly allowance then the voucher could legitimately be declined at that point but as far as I know it should be perfectly valid to use from 1st April?!
This misconception that it a restriction on "using" £100 per calendar month seems to have developed on MSE.......... the restriction is on £100 of CLAIMS in a calendar month, not a restriction on spending £100 of vouchers per month. Hence you cannot "bank" vouchers to spend the following calendar month.
para 32 of T&C- The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.

The manager of the store was in the wrong though as he said our voucher was void and we couldn't use it. We had even used our club card so it weren't like we were trying to pull a fast one.
Will phone customer services again tomorrow i think and ask for refund as now i have been to other super markets i don't think i want their stuff anyway!
£100 worth of stuff i could have got somewhere else for less than half the price and none of this hassle..I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700
Thomson EU261/04 Claim, £1,700
British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR12000 -

That is what really riled me.
I am going to use that voucher though as i haven't done anything wrong and now i have a number to phone and a reference number too if they decline it in 14 days.
After that i am not going back. I know people in that store and it's embarrassing.
We also have Tesco's club card that we use for everything (just to get the points) and pay off each month but this whole thing for me has shown Tesco's up for what they are. I have always looked through rose coloured glasses at stuff but no more. 10 mins extra to save lots of money for me is worth it.
Do Morrissons or Asda do a credit card with points PSML.0 -
not yet tried to recycle a voucher as im waiting for my second voucher to come through but i am concerned i'll have problems using it due to them signing the second reciept.0

Morrisons don't have their own credit card. They do however, have a "Miles" card. It's for use for fuel purchases only. They credit you with points, and once you reach 5000 points you receive a £5 Morrisons gift voucher.
The points equate to 1.5p off a litre of fuel.
Hope that helps. The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

Sorry no DTD on plasters :rotfl:I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

um...pinkish. I'd had some of the Chardonnay, but left the rest for hubby when he got home as the Merlot gave him a headache. It was opening a Merlot that proved dangerous.
(In my defence, not wanting to sound like a total lush- I'll be spending 7 hours on a train tomorrow, and intend to knock myself out tonight!)DTD...Dreading The Detox.0
