It's happened to me a few times when I've been slightly under so what I do is put an extra couple of items in my basket, then when I put my shopping on the conveyor belt I put them at the side, you know, where everyone dumps bits they don't want. Then if I'm under with the voucher I just grab those. Got caught out the first time and grabbed the first thing I could see which was a packet of batteries which I didnt want or need!
You dont need batteries, everyone needs batteries, we go through them like no ones business in this house, kids toys, remotes, cameras, lights, games etc etc.
If tesco had DTD on batteries, I'd be all over that one.:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!:T0 -
Why panic when doing a dtd shop, you're not breaking any rules. To be fair i actually run security for one of Mr A's stores and i find it really funny when they try to intimidate me.0

In the good old original coupon days I had many shops down to 5p, 2p, 1p and on a couple of occasions, by accident, covered the whole cost so when the last coupon was scanned, the till drawer would ping open making both me and the cashier jump!
And I have previously put 10p on a debit card in there too!0 -
just read on msn news that tesco have introduced £20 only voucher limit because people were taking advantage. Dont know if you all have seen it.0

Understood. Don't hold it against me if I'm wrong, but I think it is quite likely the cutoff point will be made midday (or even midnight) 24th for purchases - plus you'll be allowed to input them whenever within 28 days of purchase.
It seems the only legal solution.
I hope so!saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

I'll let someone else reply to thatThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Bare in mind if you re submit your details you are agreeing to the new t&cs.
I have a voicemail from customer service lady saying to resubmit my details as she thought my voucher would be there so if Tesco try and play silly beggars re that I'll play them the message and threaten to tell press etc! I don't mind the £20 cap at all- I just don't think they're treating receipts obtained prior to changes fairly and that's where my gripe liesPlease remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -

a) why 14 days - if it is because of £100 a month, then the new month starts on April 1st as the T&C clearly say 'calendar month'
b) why can't you use it 'at all' - sounds like total BS to me - why can't you use it?I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
