I think these are now BOGOF in tesco but there is a different pack on dtd. I think it is the £2.97 packs but can't remember exactly what the deal is. sorry not very helpful - I had it written down but they didn't have any in our storesaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

a) why 14 days - if it is because of £100 a month, then the new month starts on April 1st as the T&C clearly say 'calendar month'
b) why can't you use it 'at all' - sounds like total BS to me - why can't you use it?
Customer Service have given us a reference number and said go back in 14 days as it will then be 28 days from our FIRST shop that generated a voucher.
I am just going to use my vouchers then just go to Tesco's when i have to. Am really disappointed as i have used them for years and really liked them before this.
I will follow it up with a letter of complaint as OH spent an hour there last night and was told to come back today then today they said that! I spent 20 mins on phone to CS. Just can't be bothered with it. Will get my money then they can stick it. I even said we would have just used our vouchers next month except reading the stories in the press worried us!0 -
Hi all,
I have been following this intently for the past few days, but haven't chipped in yet. One thing I wondered - if somebody challenges you and asks whether you are intentionally buying things to get you the vouchers, whats wrong with admitting it? Theres nothing stopping you doing what we are doing in the T&Cs, so why lie about it?
Also, I have been in and out of here all day, and have not seen a definitive answer to this question, so sorry if someone has answered it, but have they changed the T&Cs to say that you can't "recycle" vouchers (ie pay with a voucher and then claim a new voucher with that receipt)?
I dont think they could put this in t&c, say ud done a shop for £90, and received a £5 voucher.... next shop ud done £90 again and used voucher.... that would mean any voucher received on 2nd shop u wouldnt be able to use... if that makes sense ..i know what i mean lol if they added to t&c they would have to do it across the board no matter what the value of the voucher wasOn the road to financial freedom.... one MSE penny at a time....:T0 -

I don't understand this point at all. It's perfectly OK to use recycled vouchers.0 -

I understand. They can't not let you recycle the voucher because they would be dictaing what you could buy. It would be like them saying you can only buy what is cheaper in T's with your voucher. If you got the voucher in the first place buying things you use, the chances are next time you went shopping you would buy the same items.Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

The manager of the store was in the wrong though as he said our voucher was void and we couldn't use it. We had even used our club card so it weren't like we were trying to pull a fast one.
Will phone customer services again tomorrow i think and ask for refund as now i have been to other super markets i don't think i want their stuff anyway!
£100 worth of stuff i could have got somewhere else for less than half the price and none of this hassle..0 -
Am I the first DTD victim? I just managed to cut my hand on the screw cap of a bottle of Turner Road. There was blood.

If the OP had already been shown to have used their £100 monthly allowance then the voucher could legitimately be declined at that point but as far as I know it should be perfectly valid to use from 1st April?!Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0
