Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

Hi
Can I just ask...
My receipt was signed across the barcode, as I had my club card points added on after shopping. Does this mean they won't accept my DTD voucher, as a few of you have mentioned that they sign/initial the receipt once it's been used?
I don't want a big hoo-ha about whether I've used the receipt before, when I haven't. Do you think the Customer Services desk can check if my receipt has been used before for DTD?I am Doll Parts

i agree, now that the thread is being scrutinised by the press don't want to give the impression that this is something the rest of us condone:mad:
most of us have behaved ourselves:D
Lets hope the press find the emails from tesco saying they had removed the pricecheck feature from the site for the duration of the promotion...
and see the timing of the messages yesterday where the limit was reinstated at £100 per voucher.........
then they can focus on who is being dishonest.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -

Have phone CS and complained and they have given us a reference number and said to take it back to the store in 14 days and if we get any issues to phone him.
Apparently the £100 per month runs 28 days from the date on the first reciept.
Fair Use
Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:- The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
- The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at £20.
- Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.

I can't see how its fraud. Its just like returning an item, you get a refund or replacement, instead of a returning it for nothing they give you a gift card as per there T+C. If you had purchased an electrical item with your DTD voucher and it broke would you return it or keep it?
The gift card was sill spent with tesco, if they had given cash or i demanded cash it would be a different matter.
SORRY BUT THATS RUBBISH AND I THINK YOU KNOW IT IS
your "friend" was given a voucher in good faith for the DTd on his original purchase
he returns that purchase but keeps and uses the voucher
i might be a fan of Mr T but that IS NOT RIGHT!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Seems the changes yesterday have slowed the voucher system down. I am waiting for my voucher for a shop I did on Wednesday afternoon.
Had wanted to do another shop today, but won't go without my voucher, so can only hope it comes through later.
Have checked by re-entering the code and still being processed.

Just explain what happened, they are supposed to circle the date and initial the receipt under the barcode, you should be fine.

just got back from MILLBROOK SOUTHAMPTON where i spent my 1st and only voucher £42.81. the lady took my voucher and said oh no sorry i've got to call someone, the other lady came over saw the voucher grabbed it out of her hands tutted and mumbled something like "this is a scam one" disapeared for over 5 mins(the lady at the till was very appologetic) then came back, scanned it through and said all this will stop at 12 oclock tonight, we've had too many scammers in here, make sure you sign the bottom of the receipt and walked off.
the lady on the till said that there is a customer who has been coming in everyday with nearly £100 voucher and they think she is re using the same one.
my mum actually got a bit cross that they were basiclly calling me a scammer!0 -

Its within the voucher terms and conditions- Where an item on a receipt is returned and a Price Check voucher has already been redeemed in relation to this receipt, any refund offered for the item may be offered net of the Price Check voucher's value.
Out of interest did you get say 6 bottles of wine and use a DTD voucher that didnt factor in the 5% off for a case??TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0
