morning all, i spent my voucher last night, but i was thinking it might be useful to do a list of things we know are the same price in both, as i'm assuming dtd shops will now be classes as not in the spirt of dtd (can't remeber the exact terms and conditions but your all know what i mean)

I'll admit it, I must be the only one on here that has yet to take advantage of this, planning a shop tomorrow.

Is it possible to check prices on tesco site without logging on, everytime I click groceries tab it take me to logon page.

Had a feeling it was a head ofice attempt at telling us off without officially declaring it :p

What really makes me laugh though is that they say, and I quote, "We were made aware via web forums that PriceCheck might not be being used for its genuine purpose by a small number of people."

Now I don't know about anyone else, but a price checker is there to check prices right, which is exactly what we have been doing? What on earth were the 'small number of people' doing with it then? :rotfl:

I tell ya, that representative that has been commenting to the press should be replaced, classic Bushism!! :rotfl:

Yes! On whole baskte. So if you chance on stuff that is actually cheaper in Tesco, it will cancel out any DTD items you have in there!

Aha. Looks like I might not get much from my big shop yesterday then. 2x wine...BUT also

Mostly cheap pot noodles, coke, 3 chickens etc which are probably cheaper than Asda.
