Will tesco not accept this voucher due to the fact that it's more than the original receipt? This is not a problem according to the T&Cs, you might run into a horrible SA though who doesn't know their stuff
i got turners too wed used voucher last night for £28 on a £24 receipt no probsThe art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -
"One MoneySaver reported seeing what was a £90 voucher online turned into a £20 voucher yesterday afternoon, though a few hours later this was rectified.
Tesco says this was a technical problem and anyone affected should have their original voucher amount ready to print off.
It is understood fewer than 1,000 shoppers are affected by this."
Hmmm, I think MrT fibbing again...
Agreed. Typical Tesco PR. There will have been way more than 1000 shoppers affected by the new T&Cs/copout. It wouldn't be in Tesco's best interests to reveal the TRUE figure!0 -

I suspect some people really have been abusing the system rotten, ie organised fraud. They could easily photocopy the vouchers. They could duplicate the till receipts (I know we couldn't but criminals could). Then go round buying stuff they can sell on Ebay.0 -

Ooooh we have a spy in our midst, coooooooooeeee Mr T  :rotfl:
The news story is going to make it waaaay more challenging now as all staff will no doubt be on the war path. Will be putting on the camo and war paint before setting off...
That'll be Little Miss Tesco....:DHave people successfully used self checkout AND the vouchers? If so, do you self scan or do you need the SA's help?
Well i went to use one yesterday (8p) and the lady said oh you have to take it to customer service, i said i think it scans....She didn't even try and sent me over...Needless to say the guy at customer services was ready to rip a shred off her for not scanning it through, don't think it was the frist time she'd been told what to do bless her...:rotfl:0 -
Spent my big voucher last night- after all the horror stories on here I was really worried but it was fine. Checkout operator hadn't seen one but supervisor came within a minute or so, ran it through with no problem, checked politely that I realised I wouldn't get change from it (as the voucher was more than my total) and showed the operator for next time :T .
I am a bit annoyed with myself that I underspent - didn't use all the voucher. I am evidently getting too good at spending carefully, there is a turn-up for the books :rotfl: But hey it was (kind of) free anyway so never mind
should have ran back and got more stuff:rotfl:
my sis was in front of me and knicked stuff from my trolley, then i did that SEVERAL times as just wasn't coming up to amount with a very long queue behindGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
