LOL I have just had my voucher refused (£21) at my local...on the grounds that I have been in 3 times already this month so i cant use any more until week 7......just trying to find the phone numvber for CS as i have not exceeded my limit and I am furious!!!!!

How did they know you had been in 3 times already this month at checkout? Just out of interest?

Not like you were doing anything wrong anyway doing that! Don't get the week 7 thing either?

    OMG!!
I am still reading through this (so apologies if this has been mentioned before) and have come to the part where people managed to get their vouchers to change to the correct amount on the website. I tried inputting my details again, but nothing, there was a "problem"(cynical, moi??).
On checking my history I found the page again and when I clicked print this time it's gone back to the proper amount!!!!!!!!
    Yippeee!!!

Lets hope they honour it at the till...

Hi, I dont know whether I am coming or going!

I got my £35ish dtd printed today - do I really need to use it up by tonight? Are they really only going to scan £20 dtd & me forfeited the £13ish?

    I am really confused:o

To answer my own question - what the heck I am going shopping now!!!

The staff at MrT's seem to be making it up as they go along, feel a bit sorry for them really. I think heads will roll over this almighty c**k up.

You would have think they would have properly thought this promotion through before they started it. That's what's annoying me, all this chopping and changing breeds real mistrust with consumers and I for one don't feel minded to convert to Tesco as my main supermarket. In fact, it tempts me to give Asda a go.
  • but he did say that they weren't allowed to accept vouchers for more than £20 from midnight tonight..:eek:..

I just phoned up customer service to ask them about this, and he went off to ask his supervisor, who said that all vouchers issued before tomorrow will be fine for the original 28 days. After tomorrow, the vouchers will be capped at £20, but will still be valid for 28 days. If there are any problems in store, to get them to phone up customer services.

Funny I was thinking if I get these vouchers then I should cut out the middle man and just go to asda direct, I think once this promotion is over, and not getting double the difference back then I may be jumping ship
Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right
  • I think that staff in stores aren't rally told what's going on, so they hear a £20 limit, and just assume that that means they can't accept vouchers worth more than £20. Sounds like it's people putting 2 and 2 together and getting 25!!!!

thanks for the replies. my voucher from yesterday was for £20.88 which is what is should be. so my receipt from today will only go through at £20? I think OH's wine and razors will be going back.
I was wondering whether to put this receipt through on my email or OH's...think the decision is made!
