essentially, there were hundreds, potentially thousands, who either emailed tesco, phoned tesco CS, emailed/telephoned the sun, texted/telephoned radio 5 (ML was on it at the time), PMed ML, contacted trading standards and the ASA.
woww!!:eek::eek: thanks to all on behalf of my £99 voucher then
did anyone actually speak to ML on radio 5? wonder whether there will be anything in the sun tomorrow :rotfl:
    Happy Bargain Hunting!!

Are you lot for real?! Has NO-ONE got anything better to do than complain about a supermarket issue? The world is falling down around our feet and you lot seem so hard done by. There are 15,000 people still missing in Japan and all you can do is moan about an error on a poxy website, you're all very understanding and sympathetic (Pfft!). The british public this day and age is an utter disgrace, would you still be complaining if we were under aerial attack or if we had an earthquake or a tsunami rip the guts out of our country. Having read this page i am ashamed to call myself a british citizen.

Sorry? Ru for real? You've come
On here prejudging us all! Not once in this whole thread (and yes I have read it all) has anyone implied that we are worse off than those suffering around the world. In fact alot have made donations of their "freebies" to worthwhile causes so who are u to say that we are more upset about the tesco blunder than the worlds disasters

Wat does that say about you for sitting there reading this on your computer when so many others around the world can't afford the luxury!

I really wouldn't concern yourself over somebody who is clearly so busy the don't have time to read forums - other than on a Thursday afternoon. Also i'm not sure their name is Dawn, they might just be what their username states...err what was is again....BigDawg!

I did notice my spelling mistake but I think you'll agree BigDawn sounds much better! So Dawn it is!

Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me..
I did a shop yesterday for which I should receive around £50, however I only submitted the details this afternoon.

I assume it will come through tomorrow some time, what do you think I will get? £20 capped or the full amount?

I don't know whether to take my shopping back or not, considering i only submitted it today, but did my shop yesterday.

    Many Thanks for you time!

so wat is stopping us from doin 5 shops and submitting the receipts, instead of doin one big shop they thought they had it all sorted looks like i am gonna be splitting me shop at tesco the cs is gonna think am nuts lol

I did consider this earlier but couldn't think straight with everything going on.

Sorry not been able to catch up folks and I really don't have the time to, but I've just been and used my £34 voucher. The sales assistant had to call over supervisor but it went really well. The SA asked me to explain it to her how it works but her supervisor was right there. She said she was going to Asda to do her shopping tomorrow but is going to go to Tesco instead  I was desperate to tell her how to do it because she was so excited that she may get back loads on her normal shop! I said to her, just compare prices on Tesco and Asda, she was so grateful and I felt so sorry for her. :( Hopefully she will work it out.

They already have in my Tesco, and removed all the promotional leaflets/boards in the foyer. There were huge ones hanging from the ceiling by the tills with pictures of various items of shopping on them...... all gone now

they have in my local store too, i nearly had heart failure last night when went in panic mode to spend my remaining £40 and £37 vouchers and there was no promotional banners at all previously whole shop had been swamped with it, had thot yesterday when they started tampering with t&c was gonna go pearshaped... did a regular shop with vouchers....didnt look at any dtd items (very hard!!) but still ended up with £18 voucher today!

I'm off out in a second and I forgot to ask if there is anything else I missed since about 3 this afternoon, any more changes I should be aware of? I would really appreciate any update.
