Are you lot for real?! Has NO-ONE got anything better to do than complain about a supermarket issue? The world is falling down around our feet and you lot seem so hard done by. There are 15,000 people still missing in Japan and all you can do is moan about an error on a poxy website, you're all very understanding and sympathetic (Pfft!). The british public this day and age is an utter disgrace, would you still be complaining if we were under aerial attack or if we had an earthquake or a tsunami rip the guts out of our country. Having read this page i am ashamed to call myself a british citizen.

Dawn, I raised and gave nearly £1000 to the Red Cross and the Japan relief efforts. I did what I can from the position I am in; a stay at home mum raising my children and my foster children whilst my OH works nearly 200 miles away 5 days of the week. Not to mention that im THOUSANDS of miles away from Japan. Now for you to insinuate that I dont care really insults me and makes me ashamed to be placed in the same nationality bracket as you. Your narrow mindedness outstands me and your ignorance makes my blood boil. You are one of those people who shoot their trap off before gaining all evidence and facts. I've done all I can. What would you like me to do? Get on a plane and hinder their relief efforts? Lock myself indoors and worry myself stupid? Now what kind of mum would that make me? I look after my children the best I can and if that means saving money via some tesco deal which will mean I can afford to take my children on a family day out, then I will. Because lifes too short.

what happened then? i saw some posts with people saying they only got £20 vouchers & then skipped to the last page where people said they're vouchers are now coming up as the correct amount :) what happened inbetween as i don't have time to read all the pages inbetween? :rotfl:

essentially, there were hundreds, potentially thousands, who either emailed tesco, phoned tesco CS, emailed/telephoned the sun, texted/telephoned radio 5 (ML was on it at the time), PMed ML, contacted trading standards and the ASA.

I wondered that but given people can type in their details from anywhere, their work, library, college etc can't see how it could be practical.

Heartily agree with you my friend!
I am currently waiting for a flight to Japan where I will be helping to look for the missing 15000 - will pack my suitcase with chamois leathers to help with the mopping up. While I wait I am flagellating myself with blackberry canes in the hope that my suffering will somehow help those who are suffering throughout the World.

I really, really hope you are some idealistic teeenage girl - because if you are not, then you should know better.

Life goes on my friend - do what you can to help those you can when you can....it shouldnt take an earthquake or tsunami.

I really wouldn't concern yourself over somebody who is clearly so busy the don't have time to read forums - other than on a Thursday afternoon. Also i'm not sure their name is Dawn, they might just be what their username states...err what was is again....BigDawg!
