I did a shop yesterday...got the email through.

Says I was over charged by £16.43....we will give you a voucher for DTD back.

Went to print it off....and got a voucher for £20.....I know my maths isn't good, but that doesn't "add up"

I have printed off the screen shot. ShoulD I go to customer services?

I just rang customer services. The lady said you may only get a £20 voucher however when you present the voucher at the till it will be doubled up to £40. I am going to try it in store and see if it works. I am also being sent a gift card for £4.56 ad my DTD is £44.56.

Also if you submitted your vouchers yesterday they cannot then change the T&Cs today count your transaction.

    Hope this helps

I cant see them doing this, mine should have been £26 and is for £20. Can you imagine telling them "no dont give me £40 off my shopping just give me £26 off"?????

I think the CS lady is wrong - I reckon they'll just scan at £20 :(

    URGENT UPDATE

STOP DOING LARGE DTD SHOPS !!!!

    T&Cs CHANGED AGAIN !!!

    Fair Use
Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at  £20.
Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.

Time to do small shops which is what everyone should have been doing since the start !!!!

Just so you don't miss it! Don't buy anything, you will only get £20 back MAX

how to they know where to send the gift card

do we all need to phone up custoer services
I would ring up customer services and see if you get the same story. I gave her my address so she could send the card out. The CS advisor did go and check with her colleagues before she gave me an answer. I hope she is right.

You mean they are changing vouchers they have already issued?
Yep - my guess (working in IT) is that they've done a quick and dirty hack and any link just goes to a static voucher for £20.

Still not got anything from my Monday shop, needed some basics and so took a chance and got 5 bottles of Turners Road and put it in my general shop, knowing I wouldn't get all the DTD back cos some of my shopping would be cheaper at Asda. P****d off now, cos it looks like, even when I do get a voucher, it will be capped!!

I would think it's rubbish that it will increase at the till - she was just getting you off the phone I reckon!
