has anyone got an email to complain......and has anyone got a copy of the old terms and conditions they could pm me please?
  • I got mine for £20 but was only supposed to be 30 anyway and I'd recycled this receipt quite a few times so not fussed.

For anyone else, you shopped and inputted your voucher under the previous terms and conditions so time to kick up a stink as I believe Tesco can't retrospectively change the terms.

This is what happens when people start to take the michael I guess with massive claims?

However, I agree they should have drawn a line on all submitted receipts than started afresh today clearly highlighting the new ruling. I guess you just put all DTD stuff through in £20 batches now? Not that difficult to get around, just a bit more inconvenient.

Mass email required here - this is NOT ON!! Change the Terms AFTER we have submitted our receipts?

You're right. This should only apply to receipts submitted AFTER they changed the T&Cs!

    URGENT UPDATE

STOP DOING LARGE DTD SHOPS !!!!

    T&Cs CHANGED AGAIN !!!

    Fair Use
Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at  £20.
Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.

Time to do small shops which is what everyone should have been doing since the start !!!!

They'll probably change the limit to £5 eventually. :rotfl:

But they are ot giving DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE then so surely this can go to trading standards or someone? They cannot claim to give double the difference when clearly they are noT>

Good point - right, who's on for a mass email to Trading Standards, the press, Watchdog, Tesco CS and Martin Lewis??? :money::money::money::money::money:

Thankfully I have a copy of the old T&Cs that says max value £100! I will be ringing CS if my latest voucher comes in at £20 as I was due £34ish!

And I'll be bringing the printed T&Cs with me to the store when shopping in case I'm challenged over my £20+ vouchers! You should all do the same.

Good idea - except it never occured to me to print off the T&C. I am intending to spend a big voucher tonight on my weekly shop, if they cap the voucher at £20 I'm going to be very out of pocket :( I don't suppose your copy is email-able? Or is the cached version available online somewhere maybe?
  • see post above this one very important and i can't do big text!!!!!!!!!!
