Anyone had any luck with Glenfiddich 12YO 700ml for £27.89 at Tesco?

For some reason it disappeared from my Tesco page search - looks like the sales have picked up today and it all sold out. ;)

My brother bought this at this price but the price check reciept says it was 1 litre that was £30 and at Asda it's £40+ so this has affected his DTD for the entire shop. He's getting in touch with customer services for them to sort it.

I just saw Martin saying he would be on tomorrow and he can tell us how to get 6 bottles of wine for free! So I just assumed, didnt mean to mis-inform!

No it's ok, looks like if that is what he said then it is correct. He will be telling the word about the turners road wine :(

I had a google for 6 bottles free martin lewis and it's not the first time he has announced a very similar offer involving tesco.

So if wine is your thing then you best get it tonight as it wont be around tomorrow. I imagine his announcement will be the end of the dtd too.

***TESCO PRICE CHECK TERMS AND CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN UPDATED***

Thanks karlie, very interesting. I redeemed two vouchers one after the other today, but seems this won't be possible soon... assuming the Checkout Assistants actually read the terms!

do you think this is classed as a just dtd shop?

one abusing the spirit of the Price Check scheme is being made, we reserve the right to refuse to issue or redeem a Price Check Voucher.

I noticed on an earlier shopping list that someone had bought two bottles of spirits at Tesco at £22 and they were shown to be over £29 at ASDA. Be aware that this would have taken £7 off the DTD total, potentially costing you £14. If you are buying anything on offer in Tesco, and there are currently lots of things on offer there, put these through as a separate shop.
  • Hello everyone, thankyou to everyone who has posted their fab finds! Im new so please dont bite!
I did a dtd shop on mon of about £49 and got a voucher back for £46. I tried to spend it today, however the lady on the till called over 2 ladies (i guess higher up staff?) and they both said the voucher wasnt valid. They compared the barcode to a number on a piece of paper they had in a folder. They were really rude, and i felt so embarrest! The way she said it made out i had faked the voucher! I said i didnt want the shopping i was buying then. Then she took my original receipt off of me! OH rang customer services, as we were really annoyed. I was made to feel like some kind of criminal. CS going to get back to us. anyone else experienced such trouble?
