Just got back from another shopping trip to Mr Ts and had to endure a 10 minute wait, whilst the queue of p**d off customers grew, so that they could check with their manager, such a HUGE double discount voucher. Apparently they've never had one for over £5 and mine was a whopping £45!!! God, they'd have had to send for the smelling salts if some of you had been shopping there LOL! Anyway this didn't stop me from splitting my shopping into two piles to ensure maximum vouchers for today's purchases. I might bat an email off to their HO for the inconvenience now or would that just be too cheeky?

I don't suppose anyone happens to know of any good deals on spirits? I was going to buy whiskey, but the prices changed and I don't like Southern Comfort. Could do with stocking up the cabinet, but can't figure out what to get. Thanks

Just back from Tesco, Ariel stain removing gel SEL was £4.52 but scanned at £3. Mr A is £2 so 1 bottle for £1. Not as good as it was but still ok.

dunno how much you're looking to spend but the glenfiddich I posted Friday here still seems to be available at those prices

Dear Tesco, I'm going to be away from the computer in an hour until 7pm, PLEASE email me my voucher soon so I can rest assured that I've not wasted my money and I can actually start eating my oatibix. Love from me.

Just called 0800505555 about the long wait I had to endure for the DTD voucher and it has been passed onto the person I spoke to at the store. I've just looked at my reciept and the reciept was saved and recalled at 15:22 and was finally process with the DTD voucher at 16:17!!!!:eek: If my maths is correct, that is a 55 min wait!!!
If i'm not happy with the reply I get back, I will be e-mailing HO with photocopies of the reciepts as proof, and names of the staff involved. Also, the calls staff made to Tesco should be recorded.

Are you logged in to ASDA?

I can only find it on there when I'm not logged in - I guess its not available at my local.
I have logged in but still not showing. I wonder if it goes by the delivery address, finds the store nearest to you. I think I might try it anyway. Just been looking at Tesco's site this morning and they have priced matched alot of the items I had on my list from yesterday.

Sorry if i'm asking a question that's already been answered but am i right in thinking that if something is priced £1.30 in Tesco, and £1.30 in Asda but on offer in Asda 2 for £1.50 that I buy 2 in Tesco to get the deal??

  • Have you people seen Martins facebook post from about 2 hours ago....relating to work for the email on a 'mammoth glitch' that has been 'pulled'? I think I would get suspicious over anything Tesco related at the moment!
