The fact that MSE'rs have turned this into an industry is irrelevant to me and I have neither the time nor inclination to play this game.
I know Asda is much cheaper, as we shop there form time to time. My post wa sone of sheer exasperation that they are advertising this scheme and it's actually a bit of a con. They clearly only compared the products where they knew they were cheaper.
No, they compare the whole shop AFAIK. We are just turning it to our advantage. If you don't have time to do what we are doing, that's fine. Each to their own.sorry not read the whole thread but when i compare my Tesco shopping to Asda will any saving I have made at tesco (by buying special offers) be offset against overcharge?
Yes they will, I'm afraid. That's why we have all been deliberating buying the stuff with the biggest price difference, and ignoring BOGOFs to maximise DTD (something which I have found very difficult LOL).
What special offers have you bought at Tesco, out of interest?
It's a good idea to separate your shopping into 'normal' and 'DTD'.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Hi,
I feel the need to get in contact due to your recent promotion. I have used your price checker and had a few vouchers emailed to me for double the difference. However, each time I have used one I have been made to wait with a queue behind me while my voucher and receipt get passed around. Each time a supervisor then tells me it is not valid as the time doesn't match. The voucher clearly does not print in 24 hour format. This is very embarrassing as it it Tesco's promotion and the staff are unaware of what the voucher is and the problem with the time. I shop in Gateshead and am now too embarrassed to use my last voucher due to the attention it causes and time it wastes. Could managers please ensure staff have been briefed as there are ads for the promotion all over the store but I am being questioned like I am trying to defraud the shop. The shop that I have been using almost daily for 3 years and probably paying too much in judging by your price checker.
Thanks
nice one :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

how odd, I can't see anything at 940g on the link...i wonder if it's very clever and knows there's none in my local store. It shows 32 items and I checked them all.0

Are you logged in to ASDA?
I can only find it on there when I'm not logged in - I guess its not available at my local."You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -
As they have over 24 hours to process receipts I'm sure all the data flags up the massively common purchases we've been making which also helps them to reduce their prices accordingly. Perhaps it's taking so long because they've started to scrutinise a little more...."Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0
