Also, I hope they hurry up! Shouldn't really be reading this at work but I wanted to spend my vouchers at lunchtime - still not arrived!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I think they must be manually checking each entry. If not why can't it be instant like the Asda Price guarantee site?

Stupid question again - is there a limit on quantities that you can buy? I don't mean taking the Michael, but if I'd like to buy a couple of the Oil of Olay creams for myself and my mam would that be ok? And a few bottles of vino if I can find ones that fit the deal ;)
  • I have just been in to Tesco again. I am sure the security guard was following me. Ha ha ha...paranoia or what. I was going to get a few thing but just got a Nivea before they all sell out. My 6th bottle. I am sure I am the only one buying them as there is 1 dirty bottle that I keep leaving at the front!

I'm just back from spending my £42 voucher, Took 2 supervisors and a manager to work out how to put it through, Gave me lots of time to talk to the CA who was lovely. I told her all about this thread and she is going to be having a look tonight when she gets home to compile a list! So glad I got someone decent who wasn't a jobsworth!!

They actively encourage you to buy 6 bottles of wine with the 5% off offer..

So I would argue that you should be able to buy 6 of anything if you wish.

The fact that MSE'rs have turned this into an industry is irrelevant to me and I have neither the time nor inclination to play this game.

I know Asda is much cheaper, as we shop there form time to time. My post wa sone of sheer exasperation that they are advertising this scheme and it's actually a bit of a con. They clearly only compared the products where they knew they were cheaper.

so why are you here then?lol u work for tescos?lol

It's Tesco - of course it's a con. For the vast majority. But for the tiny minority (us) you can work it to your definite advantage. And that has to be a good thing when it's Tesco we are taking advantage of, surely?

some people cant be bothered to put in a little effort on researching b4 shopping :-)
