Hi can people be careful when using this I got a voucher for £93 I tried to use it today the manager came and said they will not be accepting the voucher because I had checked on the internet to see which items were more expensive at Tesco I told her I diddent want any of the shopping and asked for my voucher back she refused to give my voucher back I snached the voucher from her:mad:
I was so embarrased this was the Gallions reach tesco.

I can't believe the cheek of the manager!!! Good on you that you managed to get back your receit! What's next, ban people from Mr T's for trying to use DTD? Ok, rant over.

I guess the managers instore are protecting their profit margins and will use every means available to them to do so, so if they want to make up the rules they feel it is their right to do so as they need to meet targets and hope that the customer will just accept as they are the 'MANAGER' how a title can change a person persona).......no excuse to treat customers with such contempt!
They really are a shocking company and should be ashamed of their antics and staff training!
The head office reimburses individual stores for all claimed vouchers from the promotion pot. So it is actually in store managers best interest to sell/exchange for vouchers as much stuff as possible.

Ooooh OH has gone to try his luck with his first go at the initial shop. Keeps ringing me to 'price check' stuff.;)

Hope he follows my advice to split it up into manageable DTD vouchers, knowing him, he'll spend hundrends (on his CC) and be really proud of himself and then not be able to spend the voucher!

I sent him the long list someone posted on here earlier (can't remember who sorry) and I think he's just gone all the way down it
He keeps going on about kitkats but I can't find any mention of them. Ah well.:D

just looked at my receipt from today.. it has the last 3 digits missing...luckily there seemsto be the previous transaction stuck to the top of my receipt so i know it will follow on... i hope!
but what will happen when i try to give it in with the voucher? probably be confiscated!!! LOL or maybe what i said earlier is true they are getting a fee for stopping them!!! ; )
  • If there is something wrong with the vouchers then why would tesco issue you them? They have accepted the receipt and given the voucher.
As long as you don't go over £100 then I can't see that it matters how you did your shop.
