Sorry, I replied to the person who was saying about the receipt being written on by the manager. I've had too much free booze tonight to go back on thread, so whoever it was, here's my advice x

I asked him why he had refused the voucher and he said the timing was different (24 hr) clock and that I had only spent £23.00 and got a voucher for £19.00.

Obviously he's not the sharpest tool in the shed then.

What are people experiences using the the DTD vouchers for online shops? I think I read you give it to the driver when it is delivered? Looking like this might be an easier route than gambling with the checkout police.

    QUOTE]

I get shopping delivered weekly anyway and had planned on using a voucher towards the cost however
    1) The drivers seem no better informed of the promotion
    2) You pay upfront for whole shop then give the driver the voucher. You have to hope they take this back to the store and get it processed so you get your refund
    3) If you are planning on a DTD shop you run the risk of prices/promotions changing between ordering and delivery. Any DTD would be calculated based on prices in shop when order is picked rather than when you placed the order.

For these reasons I decided to use my vouchers instore

I had an online shop delivered this afternoon and gave the driver my DTD voucher (it was only for £5.71 as I entered a old receipt to check it yesterday!!) - and it wouldn't scan so he took it away with him!! I also had a couple of substitutions in the shop

    La Gioiosa Pinot Grigio
    Cornetto Enigma

Which I refused, so I haven't entered this new receipt as I'm waiting to make sure the subs have come off. Or what do you reckon, should I just enter it and see what happens?

Sorry I'm really trying to understand what you are saying here but the last line on the receipt is the time/sate/store number/till number etc. How is the pay section missing?

Looks like I've not explained myself well, sorry.:o It's ok up to Sub-total £48.39 Then Multibuy Savings - .20 and then total savings -.20 and then Total to Pay £48.19. Then it would normally show how you paid but there's nothing. Just a row of stars and then
    Store Transaction
    Terminal :
    Trans No.
    Amount £48.19

Then a big brcode and barcode numbers. Then the 20/03/11 16:13 etc. etc.

Nothing either about sign up for a clubcard or Tesco for schools voucher.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .
