I'm getting worried about using my voucher next month now
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -
Ok When I go to the price checker as shown in the original post step 1 All it brings up is the option to select instore or online then asks for reciept details.
How am I meant to check the prices before I do my shopping in the first place or do I have to do it from the asda and tesco sites seperatley ?
Thanks for any help

They wouldn't accept my NOTW voucher, said they were not obliged to do so.
Then they were very difficult & rude when I presented my DTD voucher for £72 ish. First said that time was wrong .. I told them about 12h/24h problem....they said they knew about it so don't know why they said i couldn't use my voucher for this reason. Then they said they couldn't accept it because i hadn't used my clubcard. I said my OH had it in his car from buying petrol. I said nothing in terms & conds about clubcard needing to be used. Eventually after a lot of hanging around & being made to feel like i'm a criminal they took my DTD voucher .. but not the NOTW one.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a more helpful store in the area?! (got another voucher for £25 but dreading having to use it now)
Not really close but both Dinnington and Worksop have been fine. HTH0 -

if its a new rule surely they need to amend the T & C's?0 -
If you buy several items with one of these vouchers and then decide you want to return one of those items do you get a refund in cash or by voucher?0

Seems to me I've heard tales of this type before. We 'old 'uns' on here have lots of stories about rude, difficult and unreasonable Tesco staff during the R&R and couponing days. Don't be upset, give as good as you get and stand your ground. Extreme politeness works wonders and if all else fails stroll nonchantly out of the door smiling. A lot of their problem is resentment, either because they look foolish cos you know more about the promotions than they do, or because you are getting something for nothing.
It is better to live to fight another day. There are so many Tesco stores about that you can always try another. It is sometimes sooooo satisfying to walk away from a loaded trolley!

Thanks for all the useful info - was redirected from the Old Style Boards!
I've knocked together a quick spreadsheet to work out net costs - I can do all my shop in one go online at Tesco before swapping to Asda to check against it. If anyone would like a copy, send me a PM and I'll be happy to share it
