Hi can people be careful when using this I got a voucher for £93 I tried to use it today the manager came and said they will not be accepting the voucher because I had checked on the internet to see which items were more expensive at Tesco I told her I diddent want any of the shopping and asked for my voucher back she refused to give my voucher back I snached the voucher from her:mad:
I was so embarrased this was the Gallions reach tesco.
You haven't breached any terms an conditions though?! I'd be complaining to someone about the way you were treated. If tesco can't stick by their statement of being cheaper or they'll pay dtd then they should never have ran the promotion. Regardless of how you came to te decision of how to buy the items you would've been cheaper at asda so it's up to them to pay up!!Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs :beer:0 -

Hi all,
Have just been to Tesco to use up a voucher of my own and 1 which belongs to my disabled neighbour (my good deed for the day). Anyway when i got to the till and pulled out my neighbours voucher the SA say's "what's this? i'll have to get my supervisor to have a look at this". When the Supervisor finally pulled herself from her chair and made her way the full 10ft to the till she was just awful and demanded to know if i'd been on that website !!! When i asked what she was going on about she scowled " that Martin Lewis :money: bloke, he's got a website don't tell me you don't know what im on about, were on to you lot, we've had an email about it, don't think you can come in here with your vouchers getting free stuff" When i told her i'd never heard of him, she told me she didn't believe me and didn't believe the last one neither!! Anyway when i asked if i could just get on with my shopping, after i'd took her name (i can feel a strong worded complaint coming on she made me very cross ) she took the voucher and then refused it as showed that the last lot was paid for with DTD and this would take it 4 pence over the £100 monthly limit. Yes that is a full 4 pence. She then sneered " i bet you don't want that lot now do you, seeing as you can't use your voucher??? (felt like slapping her with my new roasting tins) Bought it anyway to annoy her and it did she was like a Bulldog chewing a wasp
. Imagine her annoyance when i pulled out another 1 to pay for my own shopping!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:She then scribbled all over my new receipt that it had been paid for with a DTD coupon and how much it was for, it looks like a toddler's had hold of it .
Anyway sorry for ranting on, just wanted everyone to be aware that some are being very rude and i don't know whether she was fibbing about the emails or not. Also yes i understand they are to implement rules and things but it was bloody 4 pence!!! Still theres no need to be so bloody horrid about it.
Think i'll have to indulge in some Baileys and After Eights to calm me down :rotfl::rotfl:
i'd of given her the 4 p lol
how rude thou and so what if we checking online she just jealous she cant do it cos she get sacked lol0 -
I'm really sorry, but this had me in hysterics. Bad I know, but good on you for showing them. This didn't happen to be the same woman from the same store as the other 2 people have posted?Margoriglick wrote: »***Warning!!!!!***

Maybe everyone would be better just buying 2 roasting tins and that's all or 6 bottles of wine so just one transaction showing the 6 bottles then if they get a supervisor who challenges it just say
'what are u on about you mad cow I just bought wine what website? Who is martin lewis and are u mad? Let me speak to your manager!!!!!'
I'm sure lots of people pop in for 6 bottles of wine - alot less likely that your using the price check thingymebob!!0 -

They wouldn't accept my NOTW voucher, said they were not obliged to do so.
Then they were very difficult & rude when I presented my DTD voucher for £72 ish. First said that time was wrong .. I told them about 12h/24h problem....they said they knew about it so don't know why they said i couldn't use my voucher for this reason. Then they said they couldn't accept it because i hadn't used my clubcard. I said my OH had it in his car from buying petrol. I said nothing in terms & conds about clubcard needing to be used. Eventually after a lot of hanging around & being made to feel like i'm a criminal they took my DTD voucher .. but not the NOTW one.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a more helpful store in the area?! (got another voucher for £25 but dreading having to use it now)
You can only use the voucher in the store you did your shopping in i was told this to day0
