Big thanks to everyone on this thread for all the helpful information, keep it coming.
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

i think the barcodes are generic - don't think they're unique.

They are generic but the receipt details printed along the bottom are unique and with some effort (I dont think they're imported into the system as a standard procedure) they could be traced if reused etc.

Also, could someone confirm is it £100 max per calendar month (so I could go again on 1st April) or actual month which would be mid-April?

    It's per calendar month :)

I did another shop in preparation for aprils vouchers as have already used my march £100 but I got carried away and looks like dtd voucher will be £130!!! I blame the Pinot! I'm a bit worried about this potential huge voucher causing "issues" at the till and can't use it until after my hols as we go away the first 2 weeks April- this will be stressing me out meanwhile! Lol

The Jacobs Creek shiraz someone was asking about earlier is £6.78 at Mr T's and £5 at Asda. Should work out at £3.22 after DTD. I'm hoping Asda do a decent red at 3 for £10 soon that Mr T then discounts back to almost 0.

    Yeh jillyjacks
still £24:47 - went against my 'religion' to put it in my trolly. But, at £17 in Mr A that means a 'return' of £14.94, making the 'real' cost £9.53/l. So then I didn't feel so bad. That is if I did my maths corectly. If I didn't PLEASE nobody point it out - let me live in my land of delusion and saphire!!!!!

    So true!!!

Went to Tescos today and saw lots of Colgate toothbrushes at £2.86 BOGOF, or 1L Surf for £5 BOGOF - and I tought to myself "nah, too expensive".

It's going to be very hard to shop when the promo is over.

BTW, yes I bought only one toothbrush for £2.86 to claim DTD. :D

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
i know and when we popped in today
we were saying to each other naahhh we'll leave that -its too cheap still and buy it when its more expensive! lol!!!!

Yeh - it came through today all printed and ready to go back and shop. Will keep an eye on the gin price, may go and get a few bottles - always go through loads in the summer months! I need shampoo and conditioner also - so will keep an eye on those and see what can be done!

how come I can't access the tesco thread? is it cos I am new?

Me too ! What is the problem with newbies ?
  • I think the phrase luck runs in 3's is definitely true - first the DTD deals, then I get a confirmation on my e-mail that I've inherited £866,522 from Mr Mgumbo in Zimbabwe and HM Revenue and Customs send me an email (how they knew it I don't know) telling me I have a tax refund of 468.50GBP. All I have to do is give them my inside leg measurement, bank account details, national insurance number and door colour ;-)
