I didn't think it was too bad for a first try. Not nearly as good as some of the stories on here though!!!! Well done everyong - keep up the good work.

Have you received your DTD voucher as yet? The only reason I ask is I put a claim in at 8pm and haven't received a voucher. Thanks

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Its not coming back, somebody got a message from CS stating it was offline for the duration of the promotion!

It's a bit unfair of them, they should at least provide a list of their comparable items, even without prices(we can research them ourselves)! Otherwise they can just compare whatever they want... If they won't compare my items that I can clearly see on both websites, next time I go shopping I am gonna be on the phone to them and ask about every single item I am about to put in my trolley if they will compare it... maybe they will do a list for us then so we don't block their lines :D

They almost certainly could come down on him like a ton of bricks. Personally, quite apart from any problems for the Checkout guy, I reckon trying this move would probably be classed as fraud. Surely you are making enough on this current deal not to go taking the p***?
I wouldnt take my stuff back unless it wasnt DTD and i could get it cheaper elsewhere. I wouldnt say i was taking the p***?

    DEAL

Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan Make Up Medium Shimmer 125Ml

    PRICE TESCO £6.00
    PRICE ASDA £2.00
    DTD £8.00
NET COST AFTER REFUND -£2.00 (Tesco gives you £2 for buying it)

be careful as there are several different kind of this but it looks like the only one on both the ASDA and Tesco websites is the Medium shimmer

Well AFAIK - Tescos have taken the price checker down, indefinately.
Some people have had things checked where others have had things come back as N/F - i would take this to mean they are NOT consistent! So nothing is guarenteed.
People who have not had items confirmed have managed to get hold of CS and get the DTD or a giftcard. (but check products sizes and weights carefully BEFORE purchase on perishble goods!)
