Can people please stick to posting stuff that relates to deals and try and stay on topic as this thread is a train wreck at the minute.
This is the grabbit section after all, theres the moneysavers arms for those wishing to discus anything else.
But this thread is for deals AND discussion, as you know the discussion thread got deleted so its all in one now!!0 -
I don't think it's that fun to guess when they will end the deal, personally I don't think they will as they will just get better at matching Asda's prices eventually there will be minimal items which you get 'free' and the ones that are will be the ones that Tesco want shifted quickly. As long as your sticking to the £100 a month rule then it's not a massive loss for Tesco anyway, remember for example your £100 voucher is only worth £50 spending money and the difference being £25 and they made you buy things you probably wouldn't have anyway and getting you to come back on a promise of money off your next shop...Comping wishlist for 2017

eeeek got a new follower on twitter today, not once hae i mentioned tesco or free wine, the person is called factlets and their status say 'Tesco only invites critics to taste their wines on days deemed favorable on the biodynamic lunar calendar. '

Afternoon all. Had a very successful DTD day today so I'm a very happy bunny. At my Tesco's though they refused to accept the £5 co-op voucher out of todays News of the world. They said Tesco's didn't accept them but I felt certain I had read on MSE that they do. Please can someone tell me if I'm right or not? Thanks in advance.

May I suggest that you call head office? This happend to us in January when M&S were doing the £5 off the £25 spend and when we went into Tesco's my husband specifically asked if they took them and was told yes, so off we went and did our shop only to be told at the till that they did not take them and because the shift had changed, they did not care if we had been told that they would, this supervisor was not taking them! Of course we were mad and called head office as soon as we got home who of course told us they did and said they would send us a gift card to the value of the two vouchers we had!
Sorry for long winded reply but just wanted to let you know ins and outs of it!0 -
** UN-DEAL ALERT! **
The Bold 2in1 gels have gone up in price on Tescos - they are now £3.05 (ASDA are £3)
On the upside, we seem to be 'helping' Tescos to bring their prices down.0 -

Thats not so true, im now on my fourth voucher for just over £20 (so im still under the limit with only a week left in the month) so thats about £80-£90 in vouchers, but i only initially spent £20 on two bottle of Banrock, so ive quadrupled my money and i havn't had to pay anymore to Mr T except the odd couple of pence. So he isnt really winning with everyone. After my initial outlay of £20 i have been receiving free stuff since!!0 -
Got my first DTD voucher today :j
Do I need to spend it all at once or do I get change?
TIA"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being"."Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that"."True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".:rotfl:0 -
I really don't think they are loosing so much money... Their sales went up a lot, we're just getting the items most people don't buy as the price is too high, and there can't be so many of us if MOST of the SAs never seen the vouchers before... Hope the price checker will be back soon as it was providing us with the list of comparable items...0
