Tesco/Asda pricechecker finds here.......

I've just used My Supermarket for the first time, shopping on the ASDA tab. It's quite interesting because I had an item (don't know which it was now) which was cheaper in Tesco, and when I wanted to print my shopping list, it asked me if I wanted to split the shop between ASDA and Tesco. Lo and behold, I then got a comparison of the shop in both supermarkets. Might be an alternative to the price checker?
Tried to paste the image in here, but couldn't work out how.
Again, nice work. People are worried that without Tesco having their own Price Check facility that they'll be stitched up, because the Price Check facility gives people confidence that Tesco have price checked those items. Not that it worked for me - I had an item in the Price Check marked as N/F when I got my 'results are in' email.
I think I'll use your approach come April though and feed back the results. Perhaps just try with an overpriced £15 shop to start with to see how I get on.0 -
After reading about PTS on this thread I registered then about 20 mins later I got an email saying
"Unfortunately your registration at PaidToShop did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted."
Bizarre............
Same thing happened to me.

When you say 'or 6', are you implying that the offer is not restricted to one per transaction? It's just caught me eye - 6*5 = 30 and all that.0 -

hi guys
so i decided to bite the bullet and do a mini shop today as it all seems to be going a bit crazy so thought i'd do it before they finally pull the plug, i bought
bold 2in1 gel £4.52 (£3.00)
snickers £1.73 (£1.00)
wolf blass cabernet sauvignon £9.49 (£6.00)
tropicana £2.18 (£1.50)
mccain lightly spiced wedges £1.85 (£1.00)
so came to £19odd and hope to get £16odd back - fingers crossed - if it doesnt work then im not really too much out of pocket and things that we use and want
did someone say the wolf blass has increased in asda?
thanks for the help so far guys and this thread has been hilarious!!

Sorry to ask another repetitive sounding questions
its about the NOTW (news of the world)£5 off £30 spend voucher
do you HAVE to register online to get it?
isn't it just in the paper if i go out and buy the paper tomorrow??
are the co-op ones valid in tesco?
didn't like the look of the registration page, asked me for my visa details even though it says it wasn't going to use them, then why ask for them?! also didn't have one of those secure pay padlocks on the page, was a bit scared to enter anything:(
Hi Celebrate,
Just buy the paper and the voucher is on one of the pages inside, the voucher also works in tesco as used the one from last week no problem at all and mainly purchased clothes. hth0 -

T&Cs say 1 voucher per transaction, as long as your Tesco takes them most cashiers will let you split your shopping and use 1 per £30.0 -
I've just put together an updated list if anyone wants it

Just to let you know, I bought this on Thursday, got voucher this morning and this was not in the DTD offer, even though it was on the price checker on Thursday.I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
