Probably right as BOGOF but works in a canny DTD shopper's favour IF you can make yourself just pick up one

i personally think this is a win win for tesco
they have people going out there specifically to buy more expensive goods??

fine you get the DTD back but its not real cash and you still had the more expensive initial spend (alot of people will be tempted to buy stuff they don't normally get in the frenzy of this thread as usual)

the you get vouchers and spend them on the most expensive things all over again!!!!!!

    win win for tesco methinks!

    Not necessarily. :)

I only have one main supermarket where live (Tesco). My nearest Asda is 100 miles away so as long as I am buying products I would buy anyway I think it's a win,win for me as there is no other way for me to take advantage of lower prices in Asda. ;)

out of curiosity - can I assume that this DTD only works on the total value of the shopping and not on individual items as such?
so for example I buy 3 items cheaper in Tesco and then I buy one item thats cheaper in ASDA - does it give me dtd back only if the total value of the shopping is more expensive and not just for the one item?

    Am I following this correctly?

If i buy something that is more expensive in tesco than Asda - enter my receipt details in the checker - I will get a voucher for double the difference back?

Sounds too easy - am I missing something?

    I appreciate your help. TIA

thats correct, so put your shopping into 2 orders if you know what items give you DTD.

    Cheers :)

From a quick look on the price checker nothing I usually buy is more expensive at Tesco so probably not worth the effort of doing two shops to get things I don't actually need...Interestingly my last 3 shops I entered into the price checker, one came up at 76p cheaper, another £1.76 and another at £2.56 so I suppose in a way even though I didnt get DTD I can still feel slightly smug knowing if Id gone elsewhere Id have paid more overall and I wouldn't have got the CC points either...I suppose it is a win win situation at Tesco really from that respect
