you added it to the account when you used it for a purchase
If the point arent used then it might be worth phoning M$0 -
this isn't microsoft's fault and i'll doubt you'll get any form of refundhelpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -
Uh To be fair I dont see how this is Microsofts fault, you must have inputted your card details at one time and your son has now used your card again.
As custardy said you can ask for a refund if the points are unused but otherwise you might be out of luck.
On the plus side at least your son hopefully bought some good games because thats a lot of points0 -
not looking for a refund points used money gone just thought with purchases you needed the verification code on back of card to give you extra protection cannot cancel the card on xbox as yet as payment pending-son said he thought he had used his mates card who was with him as his details were also stored, but cant really believe this as my name postcode come up before you confirm payment angry with son but thought microsoft would put the verification code in place to perhaps stop this happening to another parent lesson learned0

If your sons friend wanted his card to be used then he must have expected to be down the cost of 6000 points? So ask him for the money and see what he says?

Same happened to me a few months ago. The only way I could find to delete my card from the Xbox Live account was to log in to the Xbox.com website, and then remove the card details under the account tab.
Each time you input your card details via the Xbox it remembers your details, so now I only get points through the website and then delete the details.0 -
