Took 3 attempts at a dramatic flounce out the door before he managed it. By the time he had returned for the 3rd time (for his phone and charger), we were trying to not dissolve into fits of laughter. DD wiped a few tears from my face, but they were rapidly drying by this point.:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

I'm in again - thanks pigpen, Toots and Asbo :A
I aim to do the basics this week as I'm away for the weekend so will only have a bit of Saturday morning to fly!
Jojo - have a hug even though you sound relieved!
Have skimmed the last thread but can remember everything I needed to say ........
jinky - congrats on the job
Miss A - hope your thumb is a little better x
I think hugs are in order for Mrs C, LW, and many others x
Special love, hugs and prayers for Toots and L-L x

MrsChaos - no real advice but my OH left home at 15. He has a degree and a very good career so it isn't the end of the world. If one of ours wanted to do it we would do all we could to support rather than criticise. I admire anyone who tries to take control of their life rather than just whinging in classic teenage style.
ETA I know when SS was 16/17 he could only sign on if we and his mother gave a letter of estrangement
JoJo - lost for words. He moved the cat? OUT, OUT, OUT!
I ironed some stuff but my steam press smelt electric burning awful and now is rather dead . It is one of the few gadget things I would starve to replace.

Thanks, nixie and jinky. The calculator doesn't work for anyone under 18, but was a nice thought. I don't want DS1 to move out and there's absolutely no need for him to go, but he sees it as a big adventure - all sparked off by a friend whose mum has thrown him out.
Jojo - (((hugs))), I think. Even if you're ok with the outcome, it must have been stressful. Well done to DD for understanding what you are achieving.0 -
im in this week tooooo!! this is really where the challenge starts for me. last week was my first week but as from tomorrow i have two part time jobs. ive been used to having all day to myself and pottering around and now i HAVE to fly. i will be short on time but with lists and organisation and all you at flylady command my house will be spotless.....
now all i have to do is sort out my diet and my finances but hey ho one out of three isnt bad!!0 -
Im in again this week thanks FCCEvening all
I'll post later (lost a longish one earlier and busy now) - just wanted to say that I'm in and thanks for the thread to everyone.
Could do with some advice re a 16/17 year old wanting to move out. Legalities, finance, etc.
Thanks. x
MrsChaos , you still have parental responsibility until your child is 18 years old and I dont know whether it is different in your area but where we live housing associations will not offer accommodation to anyone younger than this. Although if you give your 16/17 year old a letter of estrangement they are entitled to benefits.
