Or more than likely you parked in someone's regular space ;)
It's hard knowing where to park in those situations, I always ask whoever im with if they recall seeing cars parking in certain spaces so I can avoid having my car trashed.... And if the worse should happen I'd keep an eye on that space for a few weeks to see who regularly uses it and then make a trip to the local motor factors to buy them some brake fluid.

More than likely. I have noticed that it's mostly the same cars that park in it but not always the same ones all the time. It is a totally random small car park next to a some houses. They are not allocated spaces or anything. My friend who I was visiting parks there too but he has long periods without a car, and when he does have a car it doesn't get damaged there.

When I walked round on Sunday morning to to collect my car, the two cars parked either side of me were already gone. The other cars that I remember being there the night before were still there and were still there when I drove past again on Sunday afternoon.

I already have my revenge planned as I do remember the car that was parked at my broken mirror side. ;)

Would you really do that to someone elses car?

Do that to mine and I'll do the equivalent to your face.

Well if they are quite happy to damage someone's car which is parked in a public parking spot just because they are used to parking there, then they deserve it.

If you can PROVE that, then possibly.

I doubt you can though, so Strider's suggested vigilante action could end up on the wrong person's car who will respond with sodium hydroxide to the face.

I didn't suggest anything other than being a good citizen and buying them some brake fluid to increase the safety of their vehicle ;)

Weren't you whinging a while ago you parked behind a car with a broken number plate, then your car got dented, so they must have assumed it had been you parking?
You really can't see it can you?

Hey I have a 2007 Honda Civic, someone decided to totally kick off my right hand side wing mirror last night:mad: I have managed to celloptape it back on to the car however the plastic is all shattered and its dangling slightly. Should I goto a Honda car garage and pay a fortune for a new part and labour? Or should I try and buy a new part of ebay and goto a local garage for labour? I'm also really struggling to find a full right hand Civic electric wing mirror on the internet, I can also find places to buy the glass for the mirror....
scrap yard for an unknown genuin or pattern part or eurocarparts for a new pattern part

Scrap yards and scrap yards that sell on the bay of e is a must if you need a new mirror for an older car.

A lot of these pattern parts that motor factors sell are crap. Had one once and it was a cr#p fit and the black plastic faded after a few months. Will now always stick to genuine second hand ones.
