£5 to get my favourite boots re-heeled - I've found a wonderful 'old fashioned' cobbler, and he has done a lovely job :)

    A horrible day.

Had to take my car in for repair to the engine management system last week. Was charged £260 for some relatively minor repairs but they warned me that the problem might be something more serious.

Sure enough I've had to take it back today, and its going to cost me another £570

Ouch! Have lots of sympathy as OH's car is about to give up the ghost - partly his own fault as he doesn't treat it properly though.

£3 on youth club for two children here - having said that, it keeps them occupied for two hours though so money well spent. Was cross that I had to break into a tenner to pay though. Work owes me £5 odd for a receipt I submitted last week and was hoping to get it to pay for the club. I think our secretary thinks I am the most petty person ever for asking for it today - still didn't get it though ,and just because she can't be bothered to pay it out, grrr!

  • I ended up spending £2.50 at ice-cream van. My dad was visiting so I bought for him too. Was very nice ice-cream though. x

well mozzie as predicted i had extra spends.

went into savers for hair dye £4.29, my hair has been really greasy for a coupel of weeks, the dye dries it out and it hasnt' been done since the start of oct, was planning on doing it next week, but i'm doing it early to save my vanity!

took back my top for £3 to primark and got a £6 dress instead, hopefully this will suit better.

took back the tights to dorothy perkins (i'm now too skinny for one size tights :j ) so plus £7, did see them advertised in matalan for £2.50 so i'll pick them up at some point.

realised when i got to work that i'd left my lunch behind  so £5.01 in asda, but that got me two huge boxes of branflakes (brekkie of choice at the mo), two packets of microwave rice stuff and a tin of tuna.

tomorrow shall be a no spend day. i'm planning on taking back a pair of jeans to peacocks and picking up a belt and maybe summit else, this was from birthday money tho.

Hey lyns, well done on coming back to update! :T

I hope the hair dye does the trick. I am a bit miffed as my hair is too long for one bottle now :( I want to have long hair for the wedding so I am growing it but don't fancy using two bottles in one go. Will have to decide what to do as Christmas is approaching and my hair doesn't look it's best to say the least!

Sorry, enough about me, well done on being restrained today. Hope you find anice belt tomorrow!
