  • Very, very bad day yesterday, had intended a no spend day, but ended up walking through the 'valley of temptation' to keep a friend company and bought hat, scarf and gloves and am embarrassed to say what I paid for them! I was lovely and toasty going to work this morning though. :o

Today I've bought Ultra balm (expensive) tissues, but I have a yucky cold and my nose is already sore - £1.85. And I've had a sausage sandwich from the canteen - £1.

Am going for a health walk at lunchtime so won't have the opportunity to spend. And won't be buying anything for tonight either. I have lunch with me, but probably won't eat it as have eaten now.

I've written everything in my spend diary. It's quite frightening how easily I've justified all of these spends. Plus I'm trying to turn vegetarian so the sausage sandwich was totally appalling, (but very tasty).:o

  • I am going Christmas shopping in a minute but that comes from a different budget so I won't count that in my weekly £5 target. However, I may just treat myself to a Starbucks gingerbread latte to sustain me around the shops but I'm still on target this week so will allow myself a little treat :A

    Hey bobble :)

The great thing is you are recording everything. Clearly we are offended you are not telling us :naughty::) but at least it's re-assuring to know you are on top of it! ;)

Turning vegetarian comment made me smile :D Keep it up!

    Morning all!

I went to dinner with friends last night and since it was friend's birthday we all paid for hers, so £15 budget went up to £20.

I haven't brought lunch with me today so will be spending £2, and also I need to reheel shoes but this comes out of my "misc" budget (I put £20 aside for shoe reheeling, dry cleaning, stamps etc). I also have my evening class tonight so I will probably spend £1 on a snack.

    Have a good day all!
