Julie I have been having Greek yoghurt and fruit (berries which were on offer at Tesco, three frozen packs for £5) and am trying to alternate this with eggs, I don't get on particularly well with eggs at the moment, but am persevering. Yesterday I had two eggs scrambled with one quorn sausage, 2oz of fried mushrooms and half a tomato. I also have porridge once a week, which is what I am having today. The diet I am following doesn't allow this but I enjoy it and it hasn't been hampering me so far. She also says not to drink cow's milk, but I can't stand soya milk. I am only having it in my porridge and the odd cup of tea, though.

I have a great deal of weight to lose, Julie; over half my body weight I would guess, which is probably why I am dropping so quickly to begin with. I also don't eat any meat, which should mean my overall calories are a bit lower.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning all,

Dull and overcast here, bedding is in the wm so will have to be drapped over the house.

Usual clean and tidy round this morning, then out with the dogs.

Thanks for all the good wishes re dd's trial, the woman wants her to go back next week, but over my dead body , she was a complete b***h to dd and all the other girls who work there, called dd a 'stupid girl' for not doing something properly, even though she had not been shown how to do it, she constantly put dd down all day, she sent dd off for a break with a cheese sandwich, which dd could not eat as she was too upset, so she hid it in a napkin. DD was close to tears all day and was when we picked her up, fancy being like that to a youngster on their first day, all the other girls were nice enough, but they were not allowed to talk to dd, who was expected to know everything without being shown ,all that for £2.70 per hour !! so back to the drawing board on that one :(

Roast lamb for dinner tonight, with all the trimmings :T

Have good days all, enjoy the new kitty :D

 Redruby, I am so angry for your DD, what a witch, and £2.70 an hour? I know times are tough, but !!!!!!, I got £2.50 an hour in my first job in a grotty wee cafe 22 years ago when I was 15! Does the NMW not count for youngsters?
