For anyone looking for reviews, try searching for DCR-HC90 rather than DCR-HC90E and loads will turn up (who knows what the 'E' stands for then?)

Thanks for posting this. I ordered one but I'm well aware of Empire's reputation in things like this. If it does arrive then I'll comapre it with my current Sony camcorder and see which is giving the better image then the other one will be sold on. If it doesn't arrive then I'll just stick the kettle on and have a nice cuppa!

Rats, and me... i think i'll wait as the old MiniDV camcorders seem to be going generally cheap at the mo - my guess is everyone's getting the newer minidvd/harddisk ones now...
