cashback paid today....have applied and been accepted for the clairty reward credit card from halifax, so will switch use to these as soon as the card arrives (will get £120 from using reward clarity... mine and wifes cards) so not as good as payout today but still ok.
I plan to keep egg money card open and will see what barclaycard offer, its ok will stick with them, if its rubbish then I have my back up plan already working :-) do we know when barclays will contact us?0 -
No we don't know when and what Barclays will do.0

Mine was paid out today.0

I've had my cashback credited to my account today also.
Having been in contact with their customer services department, firstly to thank egg for their great service (which will soon end, judging by the mess Berklaycrud made with my Goldfish transfer).
Their customer services rep has confirmed that any cashback earnt since will be lost, if you close your account before the end of this new cashback year.
So I'll be minimising my egg spend, applying for a Capital One World MasterCard, and escaping before Berklaycrud get chance to mess me about for a second time...

My Egg Money cashback has been paid.
I pay in full by direct debit, and the payment which was taken yesterday was reduced by my cashback amount.:j:j:j0 -
Yep mine this week too:TIf freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will have freedom.0

I got my cashback payment, I have a black Egg Money account, and I have already fallen out with Barclays so won't be changing to their offering. I need a new card, good cashback and no charges any ideas?0

I have moved to halifax reward clairty....plan on putting £300 on mine and £300 pounds per mth on wifes card...will generate £120 a year, no charges, good for abroad use as well. Not cashback as such but better than nothing. Got about £180 from egg this year so about £60 short but this will be made up from the halifax reward accounts, one for me, one for wife and one joint so that will add £180, making £300 in total.
Always pay off credit card in full each month, dont go into overdraft, so free money really.
oh, any additial spending over the £300 on each of the halifax card will go on to the Red Amex (product red) card which gives 1% to charity.
There are some other cashback cards....I think there was a capital one card but apparently very hard to get, amex platinum as an alternative?0 -
I only had £4-97 and looks like i missed out as you have to have min off £5. Wish i kept an eye on it. Would rather it be in my back pocket than theirs.
