    Hi everyone,

Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend so far! It's a shame you had to work DNMS, but at least you're enjoying yourself more then you did a few months ago. I hope that continues :)

I didn't end up posting yesterday because as soon as I got up I was getting ready for my best friend's wedding - the weather was absolutely perfect, not too hot & not too cold, & the sun was shining brightly! Quite a contrast to today as it's been raining on & off, still it's brightening up a bit again now. But yeah, it was such a lovely day yesterday, & it was wonderful seeing them both so happy, I nearly shed a few tears of happiness!

Anyway, back on the DFW wagon:-

    • Hopefully make use of free yoga videos
    • [STRIKE]Dig out old mobile for OH to use until we find somewhere to unlock his[/STRIKE]
    • Received another £20 worth of vouchers from surveys so going to buy a new kitchen sideboard for only £10 :D- So so stupid...I can't find 1 of the vouchers!!

    Happy Sunday gang!
Hope you are all getting lots of rest, having lots of fun and generally feeling cheery.

We're having a domesticated weekend, we're moving into a new house soon (still renting) so are having lots of sort outs and cleaning etc.

    So this weekend I have/will:

    Cleaned bathroom
    Cleaned backdoor
Oh is cleaning out under the sink (we had mice!)
He also sealed the tiles in the bathroom
    Making our moving list
NSD for me today, that makes 4 or 5 I think! Nearly half way there
Making sure I list anything ebayable (have some hair dye stain remover that's just shown up)
Planning for craft fair/pamper night at new local school (my friend and I have a stall)
Getting quotes for moving/oven cleaning etc

Can't think of much else, hugs all round!
Clicking, searching and surveying my way to a life of debt freedom!
    Debt Free 27th Nov 2012
Weight Loss so far: [STRIKE]12lb[/STRIKE][STRIKE]13lb[/STRIKE][STRIKE]15lb[/STRIKE][STRIKE]16lb[/STRIKE] 17lb
  • List for today/tomorrow:

Washing x 6 (haven't done any all week & also got dog's towels everywhere as it's been so horrible) 4 loads done & run out of hanging space:(been pretty horrible most of the weekend but looks like it's starting to brighten up now:)
[STRIKE]Dry using airers (the drier is a BIG temptation today[/STRIKE] haven't given in to the drier!
Walk dog (had cortizone injection in ankle yest so we may not get far)! Very short walk yest but have just got back from the beach - ankle's killing now tho'!
    [STRIKE]Check accounts[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Check credit card statement online[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Update spending spreadsheet (have fallen behind with being ill)[/STRIKE]
Work out ways of raising £1800 for next years' Uni fees :(Not going well with this!
Work on CV Still a WIP!
[STRIKE]Take stock of what's in freezer & plan meals for next week - think I may stick a list on the fridge door and see if that helps me remember to take things out the freezer each morning[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort out cats (they were both lying on my bed yesterday - albeit at opposite ends but it's a BIG improvement. It was ruined by a mini-fight last night but I hope we're making progess. It would be sooooo nice if they could be in the same room without WW3 breaking out)![/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tidy house & clean (very behind with this too)![/STRIKE][STRIKE]Sort out stuff ready for 1st car boot[/STRIKE]

    Getting there!

Have had bouts of activity mixed with spending ages watching the news - I really feel for the people in Japan, it must've been terrifying.

There's been so many disasters this year already it's quite scarey.

Hope everyone's having a good Sunday - sun's just come out now (typical - too late to put out my washing). Hope the snow stays away as it's pretty bad just a few miles up the road.
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

  • Morning  and happy weekend :T I'm working today but am not disappointed as I love my job (weird I gave myself until April to love it again or get out and here I am! :D), I'll get loads done as its always quiet on a Saturday, it seems like the days gonna brighten up, & I get to go in casge so I can wear my new red pumps! :p

    This weekend I intend to:
    • [STRIKE]stick to no dairy diet - its been manageable so far....[/STRIKE] I have dne except for the chinese meal we went for yesterday so I have no way of knowing....
    • [STRIKE]soup for lunch, fruit for snacks[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]check for surveys - unlikely but hey ho[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]hang out some washing on the line b4 I leave[/STRIKE], get oh to hand out the load in the WM @ 30 ;)
    • [STRIKE]make some bread[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]go to body pump tomorrow[/STRIKE] (and not let membership idle away ;))
    • [STRIKE]free porridge at work[/STRIKE] - its almost been used up but it was good for a while ;)made with water, a smidge of soya milk and a spoon of sugar - trying to ween myself off and that's loads less :) - and it was really yummy
    • take top back for refund before its too late
    • [STRIKE]take B&Q stuff back for a refund[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]put up curtain track....[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]get meat out of freezer for roast tomorrow[/STRIKE] mmmmmmm
    • make a cake to use up butter that needs using & make most of the oven being on tomorrow ;)nope but I did make rice pudding in the SC - for the boys tho as I can't have dairy...
    • [STRIKE]check thru fridge to see what needs using up pronto![/STRIKE]
    • plant some seeds
    • [STRIKE]park a 2 min walk away from work rather than driving 2 miles each way round the one way system[/STRIKE] ;)
phew what a list! Enjoy ur day x

mbaz what a nightmare with ur car! Sounds awful and I can totally sympathise as am having continual issues with my car but after spending my entire savings on it I don't want to give up on it...

as well as the above I have also:
    • made lettuce soup for lunches during the week
    • made meal plan for the week ensuring things are used up that need to be ;)
    • sliced & frozen a loaf of bread so it can be used for toast/my lunches
    • went & visited my ex-mil & she gave me 4 eggs (past their U.B.D but I tested them and they are ok ;)) & 2 lemons - v.helpful as am drinking hot water with lemon instead of tea/coffee
    • made a payment to my CC and worked out what is coming from where this month
Best part of my weekend was I went over and spent 1 1/2hrs with my dd and had the most wonderful time with her. I really think she has turned a corner, she was very reflective and honest about the stuff that went on for her/how she was to me, told me she has been watching friend's of hers with their mother's and thinks that she now realises she doesn't have to e hateful to me. I'm over the moon :happyhear:smileyhea
