    hi everyone
    so far today i have:
checked online banking and moved across the £2 OH paid in yesterday from the sale of onion sets to the pre credit card savings account.
organising today so we don't have to eat out at any stage. We're going to a concert tonight as my nephew is in an orchestra and i'd like to go early to have a mooch around
washing on in cheap leccy, now drying on the line outside
received a very unexpected cheque from the inland revenue. It's in my maiden name so need to figure out how to bank it.
weighing up whether to travel 10 miles to fill up half a tank of petrol to use the 5p voucher from tesco's. I guess i could bank the cheque at the same time, possibly if i can find a card which has been activated for my savings account.

    tomorrow/later today
need to go to allotment to start on the hard digging work there
    need to blitz this place
    need to declutter 30 items
need to sort out greenhouse so i can plant more seeds

Hi folks , had a rough few days with 'issues' at work and my late dads birthday looming. Culminated in a big blowout (of the shopping therapy kind) yesterday and lots of thinking last night. I am trying to tell myself A) it will pass - these things do B) work is just 37.5 hours a week of my life shouldn't let it ruin the rest of it C) I am already part way through my get out plan .

Not been a bad day so far as have recieved a phone call from travel agents to say refund has arrived - still can't believe i am getting a full refund for a holiday I enjoyed ! Plus a book arrived in the post from a comp i entered in early feb , just can't decide whether to read it or give it as a present.

    for this weekend :
    • Go to work - 15 hours unsociable hours
    • Try not to let them upset me I burst into tears as soon as I walked in , how embarrasing.
    • do some surveys - done 2 this morning
    • keep an eye on ebay - lots of bids looking good - dds mattres money now achieved and 27 toward a new bed for me.
    • talk to freinds and family
    • chase up people from freegle that didnt collect
    • print some bits at work all done
    • look for a date for another holiday (with same company!)
    • find out what i am working mothers day (bet I have a 10 hour shift :() oh yes , on a positive note i have a long weekend the following week and can suprise my mum then so I think it will work out.
    • sort out more stuff for ebay due to spending blowout
    • do some comps
    • Smile even though:( my heart i:(sn't in it
Hey folks can't wait to get the next couple of months out of the way - on a more positive note I have a meeting coming up with a prospective employer and she always cheers me up. Am seriously looking into working in Norway though - what an amazing country.

Hadn't realised how difficults 'anniverseries' are :(

  • Hello everyone, not been around for a few weeks (not been well & ended up really behind with Uni work:() - on the mend & work finished:j so really must get back into this!

Feeling a bit envious of everyone who has their washing out (and can't believe a BBQ is on the cards!) - was snowing when I got up and it's been rotating between snow/sleet/rain all day so no chance for me to get my many loads outside!

Popped to the library this morning so have some new books to read:) and think I'll be tucked up on the sofa with a warm fleecy throw very soon! (if I can get the dog off it, that is).

    List for today/tomorrow:

Washing x 6 (haven't done any all week & also got dog's towels everywhere as it's been so horrible)
Dry using airers (the drier is a BIG temptation today)
Walk dog (had cortizone injection in ankle yest so we may not get far)!
    Check accounts
    Check credit card statement online
Update spending spreadsheet (have fallen behind with being ill)
Work out ways of raising £1800 for next years' Uni fees :(
    Work on CV
Take stock of what's in freezer & plan meals for next week - think I may stick a list on the fridge door and see if that helps me remember to take things out the freezer each morning
Sort out cats (they were both lying on my bed yesterday - albeit at opposite ends but it's a BIG improvement. It was ruined by a mini-fight last night but I hope we're making progess. It would be sooooo nice if they could be in the same room without WW3 breaking out)!
Tidy house & clean (very behind with this too)!
Sort out stuff ready for 1st car boot

    Have a great afternoon everyone:)
