Bird hit mirror on motorway, anything further I need to do?

Driving along the other day in narrow lanes, a coach coming the other way hit a pheasant that'd just taken off ... and I ended up just missing his 4rse as he rolled across the road, then I drove through a cloud of feathers. The pheasant had been hit by the top of the coach's windscreen.

I thought everyone carried a knobkerrie around to humanely dispatch any chavs that are embedded in the grill?

Best time of the year, it's a great pity pheasant eggs were not more popular.;)0 -
last summer I was sat waiting for DD to come out of school when down the main road came a lady driving a red car, firmly implanted, head first in the grille was the biggest pheasant I had ever seen. I came to the conclusion she must have known it was there and didn't have the courage to remove it herself as there was no way she'd have missed the bang.
As an aside, someone round here hit a Jack Russell a few weeks back, drove home and it was still very much alive and amazingly uninjured in his front grille!

One of my ode mans work collegues hit a deer once in his van - wrecked the van, killed the deer reported the accident police attended and promply gave him a fixed penalty for hitting the deer.
Sounds far fetched. What was the offence code?We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.
