Nah, they don't actually make any of their own. However the ones they use are made by other companies that are owned by Nobia.
Likewise with Magnet.0 -
If I had 30k to spend on a kitchen I'd def be going to John Lewis. You can't beat their quality or customer service.
One day I will have a John Lewis kitchen;)0 -

thanks for the info and advice all. appreciated. I think I will stay local to buy.
rethought the kitchen [ due to the small dog } thou I did love the curves and high gloss.little sob.
I am going to have some type of painted finish kitchen; now going for cheaper end; as carcasses seem to be the same and I can have the doors changed easily if he ruins them.
Going for free standing quality cooker and very large free standing fridge, {have large freezer in my small utility]
A space under counter for his cage. led lights for counters and a new laptop for listen again and radio / internet and recipes. [thats another pain wired or wireless;]
I under stand they all buy carcasses ,doors in;and rebrand names ;but to me they all look roughly the same; so I am giving up the intergrated look as I do not have enough room for eye level everything.
A kitchen is a work room, I can leave the mess and eat in the dining room. It will be prettier and more functional than what I have.
One query My exsisting Baumatic extractor fan is noisy and I can't hear radio.
Any suggestions for better quieter motor?
Thanks again regards shalimar0 -
Hi Shalimar
A painted finish door is the weakest you can get, I thought you wanted a tough door surface so laminate without question is the best for this and would be cheaper than a painted finish.
No - not all carcases are the same there are vast differences in quality. Not all local kitchen specialists buy in doors and carcases and then brand them as there own. You will find the lower end specialists do this. Better specialists will generally sell a German brand or 2 of kitchens. These are delivered as a 'complete' product, a factory made carcase with the door already fixed to it. This way you get a better quality kitchen and with certain brands you would be surprised how cost effective they are with a laminate door. I suggest you do a search for a local dealer to yourself that does Schueller kitchens.
I think you would also struggle to find a 'quality' free standing cooker, none of the decent appliance brands make free standing cookers any more, they only do built in now.
Anyway, good luck with your searching.
