Kitchen supplier reccomendations

Although I say 30k on a kitchen, it's not actually that much as the appliances are going to cost about £12k and then work tops and flooring etc, the actual units are only going to come in just over a third of that.0

Now that would be amazing. Considering Poggenpohl don't even make their own doors

Sorry Ck your right they are not made by Eggersmann they are made by Poggenpohl. I spoke to someone at Benchmarx ages ago about the range in the photos above and they told me they were Poggenphol and I wrongly remembered then to be made by Eggersmann.0

Hi Steve
LOL! I don't think they are Poggenpohl either, I think the man at Benchmarx was trying to make them sound better than they actually are.
You do tend to hear this a lot in the industry, a salesperson from a lower market product saying 'this is the same as such and such' half the time its just rubbish.
Do you fit for any particular companies or do you just do private work?

no I havent heard it a lot in the industry but I do my best not to deal with kitchen salesman. Next time I speak to them I asked and see what they say.
As for fitting I just do private work and am happy to fit most. I wont put my website up but here is a link to a fit I done

What a lovely kitchen! Nice job
But what a shame they didn't integrate all of the appliances! The w/m and fridge look out of place in such an immaculate setting. Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I was going to buy a Magnet high gloss curved door kitchen [we are OAP] till we were given a longleged terrier; such a liverner!
My old kitchen has melamine doors unmarked but hinges tired like the lay out.
After the small dog arrived I imagined what his claws would do just stretching up a high gloss unit; and started to look for formica /laminate doors. The most difficult thing imaginable!
asking what the coating is; I understand it to be shrink wrapped or high gloss or solid wood. Having a dark kitchen need a white finish [as is the old] for maximum light.
followed another thread re manufacturers but as is clouded in fancy english with no actual this is dog proof like my old 20 year laminate .today all is style no answers on wear and tear.
Any one knowing of a kitchen with laminate type doors; budget £5000 for units alone we would be terribly grateful.
At this moment I've put my Magnet High gloss on hold as I can cancel the salesmam says.

Hi Shalimar
Yes cancel your Magnet kitchen.;)
We do 2 German kitchen brands and with both of them the cheapest doors they do are laminate, they are the hardest wearing doors you can get. The more money you spend does not make them harder wearing, in fact it is the opposite!
You can have laminate doors in a range of mat or gloss colours, or wood grains also in mat or gloss. The only thing you can't have though is curves in laminates, they would have to be paint finishes, if you really want curves that is.
